Thinking about titan... again…

Postby WhiteCane » Thu Aug 27, 2020 1:48 pm

Talking to the surgeon on Monday and finally setting a date for this revision… I have a couple of questions that I could just wait to ask on Monday but, I’m an impatient little Russian man... so, I’m sure this has been answered but, line phone isn’t friendly with the search feature on this site… Google is absolutely not helpful because of all of the terminology and different opinions on this… Does anyone know if a 20 cm titan inflated is the exact length of 20 cm of LGX? One opinion I read is that 18 cm of LGX is actually about 21 in practice… Another says only 13.5 cm of an 18 cm LGX is inflatable and if you are going to get two we are tips on top of that, you’re better off just going with a 20 cm titan… These are two very different statements... One suggest that you get 3 cm more implant and the other suggests between the two models, you actually end up getting less inflatable implant with the LGX… all of this freaking terminology is going to be the death of me LOL… how the implant is sitting now leaves me with about 2 cm of completely an inflatable implant on the proximal end of my shaft… As in, it doesn’t start inflating until about 2 cm away from my body… I hope that makes sense… if I got a 20 cm titan “or more if that’s the correct opinion“ everything would line up better with my body and I wouldn’t just have a completely solid base where it sticks out to centimeters and then points directly towards the ground after that…

IIRC, both the Titan and AMS have a fixed non-inflatable rear tip that is 5cm or 5.5cm, and is before any RTE's that might be necessary. So yes, only about 13 cm of an 18 cm implant is inflatable with either brand.

I recall reading here somewhere, maybe @Merrix, that the LGX is measured by the length it will maximally expand to.
So someone requiring a 20cm implant could use a 20cm Titan or 18cm LGX and have the same erect length, but shorter flaccid with the LGX.

Have you tried Google Advanced Search for searching into this forum? https://www.google.com/advanced_search?hl=en&fg=1
It's the best search tool I've found.

I wish that it was that easy to say 20 is 20. According to my memory. The installation instructions for the LGX says to subtract 2 from the total implant length measurement. To select the implant length. This is where you get that the LGX is shorter than the same size Titan. We had a thread around a month ago on this. Seems most surgeons don't subtract the 2 anymore. I think this is where the term aggressive sizing comes from. It really gets complicated because it seems that the Titan can stretch in length a little.
Another wild card. RTE's do not expand in length. So whichever model has the fewest RTE's has a potential advantage so to speak.
As for my opinion about your 2 cm space at the base of your penis. My first guess is that you have more RTE's than you body needs. So I suspect that you need to go up one size of implant & not get any RTE's.
Warren brings up the solid base of the implant. That is another potential trouble area. It is rumored that Eid will trim some material off of the base. I'm guessing that allows him to use the next size up implant but cuts it shorterto avoid having RTE's.
Sorry, but I don't think your question is very easy to answer.

No need to be sorry! I really appreciate that information… basically, what it all comes down to is I have 18 cm +2 rear tips… i’m just curious if it’s smarter to
A. Just settle with the 18+ 2LGX and fix the one broken cylinder and pump positioning…
B. Go with a 20 cm titan with no rear tips…
C. Talk to the doctor about this whole sizing thing and make my decision based on what size titan he would install… Basically, reevaluating the situation with whatever size cylinder he thinks is going to be necessary based on what I have… I know it probably won’t be the same when he goes into Measure but, shoot and holler, I guess…
Either way, I’ve always thought that as far as size is concerned, the Titan is said to be better for guys with 20 or more centimeters as far as axle rigidity so, I want to see what his thoughts on infection and stuff are and make the logical decision based on that opinion…

WhiteCane,
Just my 2 cents.
You aren’t long enough (7+ inches) to feel comfortable with Titan.
With Titan of that length 20 cm , you won’t have nice flaccid look and you will have constant semi erect penis.
For guys long enough gravity works well and gives nice flaccid angle and look.
I have a Titan (18+1) and that is my experience.

How does it feel to you? As a blind individual, I’m not really concerned with how things look LOL… I’m more worried about the functionality. I recently read a report that said because of the mechanics, men with 20 cm or more should really consider the titan over the LGX… in a perfect world, I was Close enough to 7 inches and quite frankly, it doesn’t feel very natural with the permanently hard part of my implant sticking to centimeters out of my body… if the doctor could upgrade me to 21 cm LGX, It would be my dream… I really appreciate that feedback though!

Whitecane,

I keep forgetting to take pics of my flaccid Titan 20cm. I have the classic Titan with the valves on both sides of block (don't get this model!) The valves are oblong and sometimes a bitch to find.
Its good you asked the question on FT because the pamphlet that came with implant does not say much, except to say there is a miniscule amount of metal, so you should be aware of it for future reference.
Cock still looks the same to me, but yeah, since body has not warmed up tubing, I have somewhat of a permanent woody, but it not that prominent. Remember that the Titan tubing is much sturdier, so implant tubing will take a while to warm up to body and become more flexible (I guess I am not as full of hot air as I thought, lol).
I have noticed I don't hang straight down, but hey, thems the breaks.
Functionality wise, so far, so good, BUT, and this just applies to me, I am uncut, and the pump was placed lower in my sac because of my history. Everything seems to be a bit tight. I actually got to fuck someone after 5 months! Just told him not squeeze his ass muscles.
VERY slowly getting more flexibility back, but its so fucking slow its ridiculous.

Edit: What I meant by tight is that when I go to take a leak, hauling Fred out reminds me that flexibility will take time. And when I go to clean underneath foreskin, its uncomfortable, but still doable (let me know if you need more clarification on this because your reader may not sound it out right).

Nope, that was an awesome description! Do you mind telling me roughly what 20 cm of titan measures in at? also, nice to know that anal is still a possibility! GIF was curious about that.

Based upon accepted ratios. 20 cm of total implant should get you in the 5.3 inch range. At least that is what I'm figuring.

Anal is definitely doable, just use lots of lube:)
I also use a VED, but have to use it sparingly because my sutures are taking more time to heal than I care for.

As for the 20cm, I 1st looked it up, and it said 7.87", BUT I was told on here that that was not counting the inches buried in me. Not exactly sure how to take that because when I was fucking this guy, dick looked bigger than what I had way back.
