Does he require a Covid test 2 days prior? Like most surgeries today.

Good question, I have no idea, but he should check on that for sure with doctor's office.

A friend of mine just had minor surgery, he had the COVID test, then was quarantined at home alone for 10 days before checking in for surgery. That wouldn't work too well with airline travel involved.

I had to get the covid test on Sunday and be in strict quarantine with family (even wear mask at home) for a AUS operation on Tuesday. Test was done at the hospital where the operation was done. Takes 1 day to get results back. If the test had come back positive they would have cancelled the operation.

Spoke with Dr Eid office staff. Yes, you need a negative Covid test 2-3 days prior to surgery.

I just had implant surgery on Tuesday and had a Covid test Sunday. Got my results in 4 hours.
