1 week till revision and nervous about it.

Postby SW0110 » Sun Mar 08, 2020 10:59 pm

About 1 week till I get my titan removed, my hernia mesh cut loose from my reservoir and tubing and get it all replaced. Hernia fixed back and implant replaced.

Only nervous about having the titan replaced with the ams lgx 700. I am really worried it will not keep the peyronies at bay. What if it comes back.

The titan took care of my 35 degree curve, an hourglass, and I cannot even find any plaque no matter how much I feel around. My length is almost back to normal. Girth is normal.

Just worried the lgx won't cut it.

My new doc wants to replace the whole thing. Insurance sgrees. Doc says since it has been in and cycled for about a year. I should not have an issue with peyronies and the lgx might get me back my last half inch. I do have an issue now with uneven tips and since cycling they are not as far in my glans as when I started a year ago.

Hoping I get st least 20 cm of new cylinders plus rtes. If I am lucky I might get a 21 cm lgx and no rtes. I never thought I would be doing this again after only a year and nothing I did.

SWS0110, is your signature wrong? It says March 7, 2018 which would be two years. Did you mean 2019 instead of 2018 in your signature?

Just the opinion of a layperson, but I expect your Payronie's was essentially taken care of by the "modeling" provided by your Titan and now the LGX will do just fine.

You don't feel plaque. Do you see any residual curving when the Titan is completely deflated? Your surgeon has the opinion that it will be OK. Was the Peyronie's due to some ongoing disease process or was it because of some injury of a condition that no longer is threatening? If, "Yes", "No, "Yes" and "The latter", I think you are worried over nothing.

Did your pump fail or did the hernia cause you to have a replacement?

I have no curve anymore, cannot find any plaque and I am straight now even without pumping up for past 2 months since the reservoir emptied.

You are probably right with me worrying over nothing.

Issues with reservoir came up as a result of hernia surgery. Now i am going to have both the urologist surgeon and a general surgeon in the er for the surgery. Things are all messed up.

Pump and cylinders are fine, but new urologist felt a full replacement would be better. He will also be able to even out the tips. After a year with titan my curve is gone so one side is a cm shorter than the other. No idea why.

One week and i will be the owner of an lgx.

I also had a hernia repair 4 months after the implant, at the same teaching hospital. The hernia surgeon was not sure where the reservoir was. I told her. " Don't screw this thing up" and " You better go across the street to Urology dept and talk to my implant surgeon" Everything came out fine. Love, USC Keck Hospital.

Mine just said don't worry. I know what I am doing and where all the parts are.

After I asked twice on 2 separate occasions. if he should get a ct scan to make sure he knew where things where. Urologist feels like reservoir or tubes where probably sewn to hernia mesh. All has to come out.
