Surgery report

Postby Cajun Jeff » Tue Jan 14, 2020 7:01 am

Well I had a long night in the hospital. I was having pain from the cath. They gave me some pain meds. Then I slept till 5 am.

They removed the Cath and disconnected the IV lines.

That feel much better. Waiting on 5he doc to do his exam , give me instructions, and away we hi. Going home!

So far the implant has caused 0 pain.

I did get AMS 700 LGX 18
I was sedated a bit but epidural was great.

Congrats Jeff - so far so good!

Sounds like that epidural did its job ... maybe you can skip right to the ibuprofen when you get home (and save some pain pills for activation).

Now do everything you can to avoid introducing infection through the wound - clean sheets, clean underwear, anti-bacterial showers (when Dr. gives approval), take any antibiotics exactly as prescribed ... you know the drill.

Wishing you a smooth recovery ... everything starts to feel a little better each day over the next 2 weeks, so hang in there :!:
