True, in terms of reliability, Coloplast vs. AMS, no issues were found, but differences were mentioned.
Titan rods were more durable, AMS was not as durable....I am talking about thickness.

I just wanted to point out that AMS has 2 models the LGX and the CX which is what I have. I have read an article that compared the CX and Titian and for Peyronie’s (which I my case very mild) the study concluded that the Titian and CX was statistically the same.

I suppose in the end it’s the choice of the doctor and patient.

I like my implant that is the very bottom line is how good the surgeon is and if he sizes the implant aggressively

Kramer responded this AM. He said he could put in the Titan.
Still watching vids here, I am actually forcing myself to watch the vid surgeries. Surgeons are brutal, that is why we are so sore afterwards, lol.
My note taking list is getting longer on questions to ask him!

Of course everyone is different, but I don't see how I could be any more flexible flaccid when I can do this:

It must have been me, because I did use the portal.

But the new surgeon offered either ams cx or titan genesis, not the one touch.
From the pump complaints I can see why one touch can be a problem.

I also think you here about ams more and that their market share is larger because of the impregnated antibiotics. Even thou, titan has a polymer surface that absorbs then antibiotic solutions it is soaked in.

I am not worried about infection too much with Dr. Kramer.
He irrigates the heck out of whatever cavity he is putting stuff in, lol. Saline to wash things out, Hydrogen Peroxide and Betadine to disinfect.
I will email him about dog ears and kinking. I just posted asking why the rods start out in body, yet kink at base of your dick. Why not kink further down in body?

Just finished listening to Kramer's podcast on AMS vs. Coloplast (Titan) with Danielle.
He says between the two, there really is no difference on the larger scale, but yet, it boils down to the little things.
The AMS is easier to deflate, while the Titan is easier to pump up.
True, AMS has that antibiotic shield, but with the Titan, the Dr. dips it in solution. Less chance of infection with the AMS, but I know Dr. Kramer uses a heck of a lot of betadine and hydrogen peroxide when working.
AMS feels more natural, more spongy to the touch. Titan more durable.
After all the healing, both come out on top.
You just have to decide what is best for you and what you want.
