Bremelanotide (Vyleesi) and Delayed Ejaculation

Postby 60s_surfer » Wed Sep 18, 2019 7:29 pm

The FDA has just approved bremelanotide (brand name Vyleesi) for female hyposexual disorder. Bremelanotide has been around for more than a decade; there are several threads on FrankTalk about men using it. One thing that is not clear to me from the previous discussion is whether bremelanotide would be useful to treat delayed ejaculation. The present formulation for Vyleesi is an injection of 1 mg into the abdomen or thigh with an autoinjector. The previous incarnation of bremelanotide was taken through the nose. Does anyone have any information on the effect of the Vyleesi injection on delayed ejaculation?

I tried Bremelanotide PT141 at the end of 2017. At that time it was my first time injecting myself so everything was new. I tried it a few times with unpredictable results. I did not document most of my attempts so I can't say much of my results. The one attempt I did record was on 11/12/17. I injected at 1pm and did not feel anything throughout the day. At 11pm bedtime I got a spontaneous sustainable erection with timely vaginal climax. I did have 20mg of Cialis that morning. I have some more ordered and will try again with my better understanding of some of the issues. I had a note that it cause some stomach distress.

I tried PT141 about 7 years ago. I experienced a significant increase in my libido; however, it did little to improve my erection quality. I used it about ten times with the same result - enhanced sex drive but only a wet noodle with which tosatisfy it.

My conclusion:

I works well to increase libedo, but if you have a physical imparement in your dick. It will not help.
