Any theories as to why some implants take way more pumps than others ?

Postby Evinrude » Mon Aug 12, 2019 10:47 am

A member recently posted it takes him 50 full pumps for him to get erect. Only takes 5 pumps for me. Makes sense the cylinder size would determine pumps but that much difference is surprising. My cylinders are 15cm x 12mm, his...also AMS700... 24cm x 12mm ... thus, would seem like if mine takes 5 pumps his would take maybe.. 9 ?

I'm certainly not complaining...seems like 50 pumps would be rather tedious...just wondering what I am missing in the physics and math here....

Maybe it comes down to the girth...perhaps his girth is way more than mine such that his 12mm expands all the way (or beyond) and mine are restricted by anatomy and never expand anywhere near 12mm ?

I can and have done 50 pumps but I seldom get a full pump.
Usually, the first or first couple pumps are full.

I can't even get the kink out of my shaft in 5 pumps.
When (or if) my pump gets softer, I will probably use way less pumps.

I guess the key word is "full".

I failed to mention that in my 5 pumps only the first 2 are full pumps, the rest partial squeezes. At pump 5 I get within 1/8" of original length and hard as bone. I'd like to fantasize that maybe I could do more pumps and my dick would double in size....but as I said I'm nearly to original size at 5 pumps, so dunno.... very strange...

I think at 10 pumps I'm suitable for action.
It may be imaginary, but the additional pumps make it seem a bit girthier and harder?

With my CX 18 cm I use 10 pumps to maximum inflation. Any more pumps and I'm just squeezing with no more inflation. It seems that volume is the primary variable with hand strength being the only other one. I am fairly strong and get thorough pumps when I do. Though I can deflate fully and get it really small and wrinkly under my penis skin, I am very comfortable living at 3 pumps. Here there is still a lot of flexibility but I am at 90% of length so it looks like I am fully erect. Only I would notice the difference. At 3 pumps underwear is still comfortable as my penis just folds over. At 6 pumps I am hard enough to penetrate with just a little flexibility in the shaft. It is very comfortable and can hang around at a 6 forever. At 10 pumps the last couple of pumps are a struggle and certainly NOT full pumps. Further pumping gains nothing. I emerge hard as a rock, rigid as a hammer, but it gets uncomfortable after an hour or two. I usually have sex at 10 pumps as it seems to stimulate my glans better. But count me in as a max 10 pumper.

What is your girth. Mine is 4.5 inch with a 15cm device. It takes 25-30 pumps to get to rock hard and painful. 15 gets hard enough to do the job but still bendable.

Wow.... that is so odd as I have the same specs except my girth is a little less at 4.3”. Same AMS 700 LGX ... I doubt I could go beyond 10 pumps without blowing a gasket or burning a valve

As an aside...you guys with the 50 pumps...holy cow...that seems downright time consuming...and maybe a bit hand cramping (or maybe just good exercise)... what say ye ?

My experience, after 19 months is that I can get more pumps in over time. At six months, the bulb was hard at ten pumps. Now I can get 20-25 before it’s too hard for any more. Wait ten minutes, and I can get 5 more.
