Today Was The Day.....

....the doctor canceled because my white count was elevated!
I got the IV, partial antibiotic infused....met anesthesiologist, OR nurse was there to take me back.....doc arrives he said the last thing he wanted to do with WBC’s elevated was take a chance on infection with implant.
I agreed....but I was all mentally ready. It will be a minimum of two weeks maybe a month! Now we have to figure out why WBC’s are elevated....I feel great!
Good grief I just want this behind me!
Diagnosed venous leak. Going with injections rather than implant for the time being.

Just wondering, was the blood test done the day of surgery?
If not, why wasn't it caught sooner?
I was joking on my day and said I change my mind.
A nurse said you can if you want.
I mostly said it to my wife.
86 years
Inject testosterone weekly.
Implant on 1/22/19 by Dr Avila.
Scrotal, hor. incision just over 1"
18cm AMS 700 CX, 3.5cm RTE 100cc res
Gleason 6 prostate cancer. Monitoring it for now.
Update: On my last biopsies the cancer wasn't found.

Actually it was elevated a week ago, they thought because I had been on prednisone for bronchitis. But I had finished the prednisone the week before the preop labs were drawn last Monday.
So, who knows! Got to figure it out now!
Diagnosed venous leak. Going with injections rather than implant for the time being.
