Post-op Underware Question

Postby RJ1000 » Thu Feb 07, 2019 7:40 pm

Hello bionic brothers. I'm post-op day 23 and doing quite well except walking is uncomfortable due to a somewhat larger scrotum which is a bit sore on the sides especially where that part of my anatomy rubs on my inner thigh.

Has everyone had this problem post-op or is it just me? My tighty-whities seem to be too loose on the leg and do not help so I guess the remaining option is a tight jock strap but I didn't think that was recommended.

Perhaps in a week or two the problem will go away by itself but in the meantime walking is not very pleasant. If anyone has a suggestion on what to wear or to do, I would be greatly appreciative.

I was sent home with a jockstrap from my doctor. A slightly larger-than-usual jock, with some gauze padding the balls, is particular comfortable. (PS, I'm 32 days post-op, and its been working quite well)

16 days post-op and my scrotum never did swell.
However, my penis is permanently in a bit more than a flaccid state, and underwear irritates that.
I don't need to go out in public much so it's "commando" for me.
That doesn't help the swollen scrotum problem I know.
I think I'll have to buy some boxers.
Wonder if I still have my old army boxers in my duffle bag?

Try briefs that snug down on your thighs. I tried a catches cup too, bad idea. Save your money and your body.

I am at 6 weeks post op and my dick now points down at about 4:30 so I have gone back to boxers. When I get dressed I just point it down one of my legs when I'm pull my Jean's on. I find it much more comfortable than wearing briefs and have it pointed to the right or left. When I was wearing briefs my dick wanted to point out straight in front of me and after a while the pressure of it against my clothes made it hurt.

Do a search, as this has been a long term topic. In 2015 I posted post op underwear with names. Search for me and read all the post.

I just wanted to post a follow up. My scrotum at day 23 was not really swollen but larger due to the pump. And, perhaps due to razor burn from the operation, my scrotum was very sensitive. I also don't have a lot of hair scrotal growing quickly which contributed to irritation when walking. My solution was to only wear a jock strap instead of briefs or boxers. The jock pouch completely covers the scrotum protecting the sensitive skin there from rubbing on my thigh. So far this has been a big help for me. I hope this post will be helpful to any new bionics brothers having this problem.
