private messages question

my private message file is full. How do I delete some of the older messages? I've looked everywhere but my phone doesn't show everything might not be a problem on my PC. Does anyone know? Thank you

Doug: Click on the box to the right of the message, or click for all then unclick the ones you want to save. Down at the bottom on the right is a box with a small arrow. Click that and tell it you want to delete.

You will then need to confirm that you want to delete.
