34 and lifelong ED

Postby Tmansdorfer » Wed Jan 16, 2019 5:47 pm

Hi I have not posted before but I have been following the site for several years. I am 34 years old and have had lifelong Ed. I have known since I was a teenager that something just was not right with my penis. Ever since my first sexual encounter when I knew I was super turned on but nothing was happening downstairs. This moment of embarrassment scarred me deeply. I was afraid to date and put myself out there for the fear that when we got into bed I would be unable to perform. Meanwhile I was able to masterbate but as soon as I stoped stimulating myself the dick would immediately start to soften. I also would never get spontaneous erections that I would hear about from my friends.
Then in my early 20’s I started dating a beautiful woman that I had been friends with and things turned to sex. She was the type of woman that had lots of sexual experience and knew what she wanted in bed. I remember making out and her begging me to fuck her only to find out I had a limp noodle. She performed oral sex on me which was an ordeal but I eventually finished. She was very nice about it but I could tell that she thought it was her fault. We attempted sex on several different occasions after that and finally was able to get a partial erection that we could have have sex, if you want to call it that because it only lasted for a short time because my fear of loosing the erection. At the time I was super embarrassed and did not want to talk with anyone about my issue. After several months of this my girlfriend convinced me to go see a dr about it. So I went to the dr and got the typical reaction most young guys here have talked about being that they tell you it’s all in your head but here is some viagra try this.

In the beginning the viagra worked great and we were able to have decent intercourse but the sex was not that satisfying because I was constantly worried about loosing the erection and she was always thinking She was not turning me on. After another year we got married and then she got pregnant. A little while later I was noticing I was always tired so I went to the dr and had my testosterone levels checked. I was in the low 100s. The dr put me on the gels, patches and then finally she tried the shots to get my levels up in normal range. Also during this time the viagra stopped working so she put me on Cialis which worked for a couple months but stopped working as well. All the while my wife is getting more frustrated with the whole situation because all she wants is to have a hard dick to fuck.
Then one day I was searching the internet and I came across this site. I remember staying up late trying to learn as much as I could. After educating myself some I bought a medical ved. After a couple uses my wife came to the conclusion that it is impossible to keep the passion going when I have to stop and pump my dick up. I then took the plunge and called a reputable urologist at Keck Medicine of usc and made an appointment. This was the best thing I have ever done for myself. The dr was fantastic she didn’t look at me like it was in my head like the other dr’s had, she actually wanted to find out the problem. She sent me for a penile Doppler test and scheduled an appointment to see the PA for a prescription for Trimix. After the Doppler test I found out that I had a severe venous leak which caused the Ed.
The trimix worked great initially, I had erections like I had never had before and could last as long as I wanted. I was thinking this was going to change my sex life and fix the issues of a sexless marriage that we had. While my erections were great with trimix the spontaneity and passion was still hard to get. Eventually that mixture stopped working and the dr had to up the dose several times.
Now to where I am now, three months ago my wife of 9 years moved out and told me she wanted to divorce. She tells me that it is not because of the miserable excuse for sex but I know that’s a lie because I found out she had sex with someone only a couple weeks after leaving.
I saw the urologist last month and told him what happened and my concerns with trying to date and use trimix and upping the dose every couple months. He suggested getting a penile implant would be the solution. After reading hundreds of posts on this forum I knew a lot about them and told him let’s do it. My surgery is now scheduled for January 24th as long as the insurance approves the surgery. I am worried about the usual things everyone talks about like loosing length and the pain that is going to be involved.
At this point I don’t see another option , I don’t want to doom my myself and my next relationship from the start. After all I am only 34 right now and I don’t think that woman my age are very accepting of a man that cannot get A hard on. I am hoping that if I do this I can build some confidence that I have never had before.

My friend your story is almost identical to mine and I am now 68. I started losing erections by age 20 and by 27 discovered my "T" level was 150mg. I started with the "T" injections and the doctor got my numbers to 850 to 1,000mgs and once again I had rock hard erections but if I moved around to much, I would lose the erection and back to the beginning to get it back up. Things stayed like that but the failures were coming more and more often. I could maintain a rock hard erection on my own in a play session to take care of my personal needs. My wife accused me of having an affair with no way to convince her otherwise.

You need to know in the 70's to the late 90's doctors didn't come close to having a good fix for ED issues. I tried pumps and finally penal injections. They worked so well that I would keep a major boner for up to 9 hours unless I injected again a med to kill my boner.

At 42 I found a doctor who was great and he recommended an implant. I tried to research all the material available and like you I said go for it. That has been a long road but successful. I have had to have several revisions. My last implant was a Coloplast and this made me almost like I once was with length and girth.

My first 2 were AMS and I lost almost 2 inches in length and the girth department didn't even get close BUT I had a dick that was solid and worked every time I used it. I don't know what your natural measurements are but I will say this. If you have more than 7 inches and your girth is say 6 inches around I doubt you will come close to that with an AMS. My Coloplast brought me within a 1/2 inch of my natural length and my girt is back at 6 around. I have erections that are like granite and in a soft state, makes a huge impression in any locker room hanging at about 5 1/2 inches. LOL

NOW I WANT TO ADD A BUT HERE: Size isn't what this is all about. Guys worry way to much on this topic rather than learning to use what they have. My best friend of 30 years has about 6 inches and he has more than ample dick to make any guy or woman happy. My original length was slightly over 8 inches with nice girth to match. I went for a lot of years with less of both and had the time of my life ALL BECAUSE I KNEW I WOULD STAY HARD, maybe not like granite as now but it wouldn't fail me.

I will not deny that the first 36 hours is the worst but all the doctors I have had always gave enough pain meds to take care of things. After the first 36 hours things start to improve greatly and each day brings you closer to having a fantastic sex life again. This will be a whole new world.

68, single, have had an implant since I was 42. Goals: to help men with ED; help men over come years of failure; to know their bodies; have a richer fuller sex life whether they or straight, Bi or gay. last I traveled this road starting in the late 60's

Thank you for your support I appreciate it. This site has helped me immensely to feel like I am not the only one dealing with this issue.
My measurements are not nearly as impressive as yours with only being 5.5” in length maybe 4 “in girth. Talking with my surgeon I feel like the lgx is the best implant for my size. I like that over time it will help retain what little I do have. I am trying to not worry about the size as much as looking forward to not having to worry about is my dick going to get and stay hard.
