"Likes" tab
I think it would be great if there was a "Likes" tab. I know there some post I like what they posted, but may not feel want to posting a real comment.... Just want them to know I "Liked" their comment.

I mostly use the smilies/frown/crying to indicate tone which email, facebook, text, etc. doesn't allow for. I have been told that I have a very aggressive tone. Those who know me would tell you that I don't have an aggressive bone in my body.

Re: "Likes" tab
You guys have figured it out!
It seems the closes we can do is use "smilies" for "likes".
This is an entirely different kind of program from the kind that facebook or linkedin uses.
So, yeah...smilies are a good shortcut.

Yes but, can we just click the smile, frown, cry, etc. INSTEAD of replying to, and therefore creating, a new message?

If that is the best we can do then it should be OK...perhaps post a sticky about some type of reference discussing the use of smiles in place of adding comments if a member chooses that route.
