James, sounds good!
Did you have the stitches removed at 14d or did I miss that?

Deflating is easy but the skin on my scrotum hates the pinching. I have the “touch” version of the pump and so far this “one touch release” is not a reality for me. If I press on the deflate button once, the penis will just let a bit of the fluid out but will not go down on its own as I have seen on videos. If I press a second time strongly, I can compress my dick taking out all fluid. After that, I give a squeeze to the pump to block the mechanism. I don’t have autoinflation or anything as such during the day. But as mentioned before blood comes back to the penis and fills it up. Still bendable, no problem to tuck it in my underwear.
Our pumps are the "Touch" model, not the older OTR, so we do not have a "one touch release". Like you described, the button needs to be held depressed to deflate.

Jamesmj wrote:I don’t have pain in the scrotum just some burning on the side where the deflation valve sits. I guess it is related to the constant rubbing of the skin there.
That maybe what I experienced as the scrotum rubbing against the inner thighs. Try some hand lotion in that contact area to reduce the friction.

Actually, the Titan Touch is deflated by a momentarily squeeze as well. The Touch is just a newer, supposedly improved version of the OTR.

In my case, I doubted this as well in the first months. I thought either it was marketing BS or that my pump was defect. I had to press and hold the deflate button while I squeezed the shaft with the other hand. I also used to press the perineum to deflate better.
After a few months that changed though. I just need to press the button once, hold it depressed for 2-3 seconds, and my dick goes down all the way to a perfect 5:30 flaccid as recently posted pics in “My Journal” shows. I never hold the button down, never squeeze the shaft.
I guess the deflate valve just needed a break-in period.
What I do now quite often is to deflate (with one hand) while still inside my partner. It goes down very naturally.

Jamesmj wrote:SHAPE AND LOOKS

Yes, it is true! The dick is oval shaped hahaha. I was not quite understanding what this meant before the surgery but now I do. On the flaccid state all looks perfectly normal even if like a semi. But on the hard state, specially if I’m not aroused, the dick looks wide but flat. I cannot say how much so because it is something I never paid attention to before the surgery but it sure does look and feel flat.

These days I was concerned about glans/shaft engorgement. My glans swells when I'm aroused and it requires constant stimulation just like before the surgery. I got a bit down thinking that I might need to wear a cock ring specially after going through the surgery. But, after giving it a try with some porn, I realized that it fills up just fine and that it will stay engorged as long as I am stimulated/horny. I am still not getting much engorgement at the underside of my shaft. I do not know whether this related to the compression applied by the cylinders blocking circulation, the pain, the healing process or because this is the way it will be from now on.
This matters because of girth. I mentioned before that my girth increased after the surgery. This is because looking from the top my dick is definitely wider but due to the less round and more flat new, when measured, it is the same as before surgery.
I hope that in time it will round up more, and more blood will be “trapped” in the spongiosum during sex.

In any case, I am happy with the result: when hard and aroused, it still looks like my old self but very hard and less round. Exactly what my doctor promised!

In regards to looks, the flaccid state, although somewhat hard and large, can perfectly pass for a normal dick that is big and points. I am sure I will not have any issues at the gym or anywhere else. The pump cannot be seen at all. It is right behind the testicles.
I know I am in a different country and things might be different here but, when I was on a daily PDE5-I regimen, my dick was very “full” when flaccid, very similar to what I have now. I never felt embarrassed while being naked at the showers or the locker room… in fact the opposite!

My angle remains at 2:30/3:00. I am not sure if it is really possible to improve this. There are so many discussions on this subject. As I said I cannot keep my penis pointing upwards because it is too uncomfortable but I am not puttiing downwards either. Only time will tell.

2 (women) friends have seen and even touched my dick and the only comment I had was that it feels very natural and that they would love to ride it!

PSYCHOLOGY 101

I guess because I read so many stories of you guys and investigated so much before getting my implant, I was somehow prepared on what to expect. I even imagined how I would feel. I recommend this to all you planning on getting the surgery. Try to imagine what your life will be with this and while reading the stories of others try to see yourself in that situation.

I have noticed that I am feeling more confident and I am trying to push this even further. I have not been out in bars or anything like that yet but I am sure this will be better than before surgery. Before I didn’t want to go talk to people because what is the point of flirting when you cannot perform in bed.

By no means think that the implant will change who you are, it will only give you the possibility to fuck on demand any time you get a chance. BUT, you are still you. You have to work on your looks, your body, your self-confidence or whatever makes you attractive to others! And of course you have to find a sex partner willing to have sex with you.

For those who are terrified of the surgery and doubtful, here something someone said to me that helped me a lot on my decision: “You cannot get it hard enough and no other treatment works for you. What can you loose with the implant? In the worst case scenario if it does not work or you don’t like it, you will be back to where you are right now” Obviously have to be certain that the implant is the ONLY and right option for you. This makes the decision way easier.

Something I said to my self many times on the months before the surgery was: “there will be days when you will freak out, you will have doubts and you will regret” I prepared my self also for this. I have it very clear that all will improve and be easier with time.

So far I had only one day when the fact of not getting engorged enough, maybe having to wear a cock ring, plus the constant dull pain, plus feeling not big enough, plus the flat shape… plus, plus, plus and plus life, work and myself sent me right to depression. Fortunately, it didn’t last long but I know this might show up from time to time while I heal and while I understand and get used to the new me. As merrix said, this not only a physical change but also a powerful mental one that probably takes even longer to heal.
I.e. Yesterday I discovered myself rushing to the mirror to look at my dick before “I loose my erection” this conditioning has been with me for so long that it will take a while to get used to the new dick that doesn't go limp and neither bends during sex.

Having a dick that is hard-ish all the time is making me suffer: I am horny all day long! In my brain there has always been the link between engorgement and being horny. So feeling this semi hard penis down there makes me want to masturbate at all times. And of course makes me think of sex all the time. I have been cleared to have sex at the 3-week mark but I think I might wait a little longer because it might be too painful.

I am single and just like so many of you single guys, my biggest concern right now is how am I going to hook up with someone and explain the situation. I am sure I will go for the highly discussed in here: “I had surgery in my balls but it is all fine now”.

Something that I was concerned about before but it is a big relief now is that you can actually pump to a degree where you dick is hard enough for foreplay but bendable enough to keep it inside your jeans. So for me, that will be the way to go. Flirt, get it a bit hard, make out, excuse myself to the bathroom, pump to full and have sex.

FOR THE CURIOUS

For those of you concerned about what to say to colleagues, family and others. It has been very simple to me. In professional environments I said I had a hernia repaired.
for friends seeing me taking it easy while sitting/moving I said I hurt my lower back doing sports. And to those asking why going to NY for surgery I said there was a long waiting list to get the surgery done here (for the hernia) and that the doctor in NY was an acquaintance of the family. Because I do a lot of sport I was not willing to wait that long.

This oval shaped dick thing is so unforunate. Lately this has become a reason I fear getting the implant. I thought the titan was suppose to produce a rounder shape than the AMS.

The oval “thing” was a bit disconcerting at first.
I had trouble re-wiring my sex brain when masturbating because my old grip didn’t feel quite right.
As time has gone by I have discovered that my shape has become ‘fuller’ and has a more natural feel ...........then add on arousal, either by my GF handling me, or after/during oral sex and hey presto a very round and extremely firm cock.
It seems a big thing at first but like many aspects of being bionic it slowly becomes “part of you”........I think it’s best to learn to accept that you have said goodbye to your old cock and and are now able to enjoy a very effective new one.......after all, if you have an implant or are contemplating getting one it means the old one became, or is becoming, redundant. :D

Ohh, thanks for correcting me on that, or I never would have tried it again as a One Touch. Mine is likely broken in by now so I'll try your techniques.

Just wondering though, using it as a One Touch will it get as flaccid as by squeezing?
And do you still need the one quick pump when flaccid to set the valve?

My Titan Touch will not go down by itself or after only squeezing the button once. I have to press the deflate button continuously while squeezing my dick with my other hand from front to back in order to achieve only a semi. Mine never really goes down to what I consider flaccid. I wear the David Archy's with the separate pouch. Otherwise, stiff clothes, like jeans, rub enough to hurt and soft clothes like slacks or sweatpants rub enough to keep making me horny.

I don't have any problems with the shape of my AMS. :)

In time it will get rounded again. For me, having the experience with both, the AMS kept the oval shape the longest.

I told persons at work and friends that I was having "urological surgery" and no one asked for details (since that is obviously a personal area of the body).

After reading and researching different surgeons and on advise of some of the bionic brothers, I finally decided to go with Dr. Eid. Met with him on Monday for consultation. Told him that I'm perhaps one of his more informed patients and went right down to more specific questions.
His infection and revision rate is .5%. Asked him about the oval shape, he explained that if implant is done right, there should be no problem with that. He examined me and told me what my size would be after the implant and told me that I'll get a 22-23 Titan. He noticed i've developed peyronie's disease and some loss of length only after two years of ED, which he said he'll correct during the surgery.
I'm going with him at considerable out of pocket cost. Although I have very good insurance, he's not in the network and it'll cost me $10,000!! I've accepted that cost in the hope of getting one of the best implants I can. Hope I'm not wrong. Even my son who's an MD doubted that added expense is justifiable. But I think no one can afford or should go through revisions and I feel for those who had to deal with that.
Overall, I was impressed by his confidence in dealing with my issues.
I'll get the injection and measured next week and then schedule my surgery. Any advise from James or his other patients, here or PM, would be greatly appreciated.
