Bionic, hang in there Brother. My first implant was Dec 2014, it failed July 2017. Revision Oct 18th 2017. this was also done infra pubic which now I know was a nerve killer. I lost a lot of length and girth but just in the past couple weeks the length is coming back a little. Even my wife says it is getting back to my normal size. Which isn't much but 5 inches is better than the 3 I have been working with. It takes some of us a little more time than others. I too have a lot of numbness in my shaft. I do have a fair amount of feeling still in the glans of the head. Besides that I'm not circumcised so I still have a lot of feeling in my foreskin. It does take me a lot longer to cum, but it is normally a mind blower when I do. Don't give up, this surgery takes a long time to heal. Hang in there, pm me if you need to.

Hoping for the best for you Bionic!

I wonder if any sensitivity ointments or stimulating lube would help?
Or any nerve repair that may happen over time?

I always wonder what stem cell research will have for us in the future.

The infrapubic method does come with sensitivity risks, but I'm sure your surgeon did his best.

Keep your chin up and we all are here with you hoping that healing over the coming months will bring sensations back!

"Disadvantages of the infrapubic approach include limited corporeal exposure, possible damage to the dorsal nerves of the penis with resultant sensory loss, and the inability to anchor the pump in the scrotum. Although damage to the dorsal nerves of the penis seldom occurs with the initial implant procedure, it is a risk ..."

It may get better in time. In the meantime, try pills. The extra blood flow might help.

What was the date of the impact? 10/12/2018 is still in the future? I tend to feel that it is still early.

I seriously have no physical pleasurable sensation from my penis. I feel touch, but not stimulation. Prior to my surgery I as able to orgasm even if I wasnt horny just by masturbating long enough even in a flaccid state.
Im hoping for the best that things will improve in the near future. I have a follow up appt in March with the surgeon. I dont think he did anything wrong, he did what I asked. My problem is that hes not acknowledging or responding in a favorable way to outcome, given the circumstances. I will admit that I was shocked by the length loss (which did depress me after seeing what the length actually turned out to be after activation.) And Im willing to look at the possible psychological component, but we are really talking about 'No pleasurable sensation" at all masturbating. Im afraid to even attempt intercourse because the desire is not there. I have a wonderfully understanding, , supportive patient and attractive wife. Thanks for your support.

What about your testosterone levels... has anyone checked that??

Testerone level was checked, and it was normal. The numbness seemed to occur right after activation. Which leads me to believe that something happened in the activation process (I.E damage to nerves from the stretching of tissue? I dont know. On the plus side, Im beginning to see a slight improvement in length, which may be promising. I read that most men gain 1.cm after a year or so with the AMS LGX that I have.

"In our study, the stretched penile length was at least 1 cm longer at 12 months than preoperative and 6 months measurements in all patients, confirming the elastic properties of the penis, irrespective of the normality or abnormality of the corpora cavernosa."-ncbi.nlm.nih.gov · by Carlo Luigi Augusto Negro

I have no choice but to wait and hope sensation returns. I have a tendency of throwing the baby out with the bath water, due to my impatience. This is a case where I must give time, time.

Change of plan. I am having it done a Keck USC medical. Dr Boyd. He has done over 6,000 infrapubic and no nerve damage. He claims shorter healing time.

I agree with everything you said. I was told that if you use a VED while cycling, you may get better results. :)
