How hard is too hard

I see a urologist next week to talk about implant surgery. A lot of what I've been reading from guys posting here, during sex their Partners prefer 75 80% hard as opposed to 100% hard. My question is at 100% hard how hard is it? Is it more like a glass dildo compared to a natural erection?

Some have said they use theirs for a towel rack. My wife refers to mine a dildo(different long story)

No it’s not like a glass dildo. Your flesh surrounding the implant engorges when you are aroused. (As long as you had some blood flow and engorgement pre implant) For most women 80 percent is good. There are exceptions tho. Some love it fully pumped.

When you were fully erectile functional you probably did not do a beam strength test or test your penis for its flexural modulus
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flexural_modulus

But, when you have a really rigid erection, your penis can bend a little bit, especially when penetrating your partner or if one of you moves around. An implanted penis can exceed that degree of rigidity by quite a bit if fully pumped up. Apparently, 75% to 80% of full inflation approximates the actual rigidity of a natural penis' erection, so feels the most natural.

Makes sense to me.

It also makes sense that some people who really love going to the limits of their ability to be penetrated sexually, actually like the super-natural rigidity of a dildo or an implanted penis fully pumped. Some may like it some days and on other days be a little more conservative, depending on mood. Ain't communication between partners wonderful?

for me, the implant can get as hard as the end of a broom stick. I think that the key is to tell your partner that you are adjustable. She should work with you on this and you should tell her that it is ever too hard, then you can back it off some.

At one point, I thought it would be a fun sex game to tell your partner:
"I am adjustable to three levels, and you can pretend I am three guys --- you just have to decide which one you want to have sex with" :

Floppy Phil ---- 50% erect (just good enough to penetrate, and really comfortable for woman)
Stamina Sam --- 80% erect (really firm erection, but still like a human)
Olympic Olly --- 100% (crazy hard like an olympic athlete)

My wife has no problem (nor do I) with my implant being 100% inflated.

My wife and I are in that 75-80% range. She complained that I was being too rough when I was fully inflating the implant. I deflated a bit without changing my my technique and she thought I was Mr. Magic, taking her over the edge. For me fully inflated was awesome because I had not been that hard in my life. But that feeling was pride, not the sensation. At full inflation I lose some of the pleasurable feeling a boner has always given me. It was comparable to my first injection when the Dr. gave me a strong dose and it was more pain than pleasure. I am just four months post-op. My guess is when I have maxed out my implant to it’s full growth potential, there may be less pressure from the cylinders into my glans and fully inflated may be more pleasurable for me at that point.
