I wanted to get surgery in April. I got the impression that Dr. Eid was very good about maintaining length. However, I am between 5 3/4 and 6. If I were to lose a little length could I still have a satisfying sex life.

From personal experience and what I have heard form other guys here, when you use a qualified surgeon, losing length is not that common. I am very happy with my results. In fact, my size is larger than I expected.

ABSOLUTELY. I am not that big and I have a very satisfying sex life. What everybody HAS TO REMEMBER is... sticking your dick in and blowing a big wad of love snot is only a portion of what is going on when we have sex. The emotional part is a very important part. It is the emotional part that tells us that we wanna and send blood to the glans penis to become erect. Keeping all this in mind, we could probably have a satisfying sex life with a little one inch'er, although the women may not enjoy that little gut much.

Please follow the advice here about maintaining the length in this site. To summarize the points for you:
- Choose a good surgeon and discuss it with him beforehand. With Dr. Eid, you've no issue.
- In the month leading to the operation: use VED or injection to prevent shrinkage from a lack of use.
- At the surgery: opt for the spinal anesthesia as it allow the blood to flow to the penis and makes the surgeon's job easier (as per Dr. Eid).
- Post-op: cycle aggressively once cleared by your surgeon. I personally regained lost length and more (about 1.25 inches) after 3 months of cycling and I'll continue to cycle.

I've read studies of ideal length from a woman's viewpoint. Pornstar monsters are not preferred. In fact I have a friend with a 14 inch hardon who has had a number of women refuse sex with him throughout his life. The ideal for most women is totally in the average 5-6 inch range. Remember, it isn't the size of your boat but your motion in the ocean.

I think it’s teue to say that men are hung up on size but most in this site are at a point where y this becomes rather inconsequential overall given their plight usually for many years. Getting about the same or nearly should be the only goal. Having a dick that works is the magic bullet.
