Will not be inflated until 2 months after surgery

It has been about a month since being implanted. Have seen the surgeon twice since then just to check on healing process which has been great but he doesnt want me to use or inflate until I see him again in early Feb. He left the implant at about 10% inflated. Should I be concerned that I wont inflate until 2 months after surgery? Will I have scar tissue that I will need to break through? I have felt around down there and the bulb is as hard as a rock and I cannot press it in at all. I believe I need to push the deflate button first but I cant seem to press that in either. Has anybody had to wait that long after surgery before being inflated?

My doctor left me at about30%inflated and told me not to start cycling until the 6 week point when I was scheduled to see him, I actually started cycling at 5 weeks once a day after deflating then inflating but I was still tender, I’m at 8 weeks now and feel great and cycling has become much easier

I didn't inflate until after 3 months (too sore, and I was in no hurry). As far as I could tell, the wait did not result in any problems.

I started cycling three days after surgery (Saturday, surgery was on Wednesday). Dr. Eid puts a lot of effort on avoiding swelling, hence if the patient feels comfortable enough, we are cleared to start the process as soon as 3 days, as long as we are sure we can identify the pump structures so you can deflate.

Your nuts are still swollen fining the deflate valve can be a pain. You fuck yourself if you inflate then can not delate.

Agree!!! That is so true; desperation builds if you cannot find it, and things gets even worse!!! That is why you should not do it until you have full assurance that you can 100% locate and active the darn button (which BTW is harder at the beginning).

Don't know if this was the right thing to do but i took it upon myself to start inflating 3 days after surgery and suffered no pain or damage of any sort.

I tried to inflate at about 18 days. I caused a hematoma. My doc said be patient and wait till 8 weeks. I went to him for inflation and everything was great, I don't believe you have anything to gain by going early, and perhaps something to loose. Relax and follow your doc's advice. You will be able to stretch things out to max by cycling when all is healed.
