Size prediction is ONLY an estimate. Even the best surgeon possible cannot give you more than what you have, so "pushing the envelope" mskes no sense.

A poor surgery can lose you length, but only divine intervention or additional surgery can increase it (there are procedures, some spurious, soje experimental and some proven, but ALL are additional to the basic implant surgery).

Poor patient compliance with post-surgery protocols by the can also lose one's size.

But those lengthening surgeries are not the subject of the question, I think, were they?

I would trust Dr Eid's judgement regarding size. He does both a stretch measurement and measurement after injection. He told me 20cm at the pre-op consultation. Afterwards I see that he used a 22cm kit and gave me a custom 20cm/21cm. If he's that detail oriented he won't undersize you.

When my ortho did my hip in 08 he told me I may not come out with legs the same legnth. He would not know until after the surgery. It is the same thing with our implants. Dr can give you an estimation prior, but until he is actual in there will not know for sure. They do a test inflation after they put it in, so they know what you should be

In my case, I was physically unable to get my fingers onto the deflate valve as the pump was just too high and there were some major lumps in my scrotum. I was finally able to to do it, with great difficulty, at 8 weeks. I'm at 10 weeks now and still swollen. It's still very difficult to deflate. I hate to think that this will result in a diminished length forever. If 3 inches are inside, then I should end up with about 5.6 in. I'm at 4.75. I just don't see it stretching more than 3/4 of an inch. What does everyone think? Is that possible or unrealistic?

Last time I measured inflated 5.25 dr said expect another .5

Thanks everyone for putting my question in perspective!

Over 11 months I have seen gains it’s just that they are incremental. I have maintained a consistent program of inflating to as hard as possible at least once a day.
My doctor was correct. Actually I can still inflate to a level of slight discomfort ....... a sign that my size has a small way to go still.

Are you asking if anyone has pushed their surgeon to give them a larger implant than they said they would recommend? My advice is to listen to the doctor's expertise and go with it. It's my understanding that oversizing the implant puts stress on the glans and the tissues can wear thin and cause problems. That is one of the issues with the malleable implant that you just bend up to get an erection and bend down when you don't want one. That type stays at its full length all the time and puts a lot of pressure on the glans.

If you had to choose between 6 inches of permanently limp dick and 4 inches of on-demand rock hard erections, which would it be? Just a thought.
