Numbness

Postby Bionic » Wed Dec 20, 2017 7:45 am

Its been 2 1/2 months since my implant surgery. Ive been disappointed with it from from day one for various reasons.
But Im trying to make peace with what may be unrealistic expectations such as length. The pump took me a few weeks to soften enough so that pumping is more comfortable. Trying to cycle more often because I really dont know if Ive pumped to maximum yet. In addition theres numbness under the top third of my penis that wasnt there before the surgery. My surgeon used an infrapubic placement, so there were no incisions on my penis or scrotum. So I dont understand why im experiencing numbness. I cant orgasm even when masturbating. Anyone else have this experience? And if so, did the numbness eventually go away?

Please create a signature. It makes things much easier to answer your questions without asking a lot of questions. Here's how you do it
Click on your name in the top right corner and select "user control panel"

Then under the big letters "User Control Panel" there is a row of words... select "Profile"

Then down the left had side of the "User Control Panel" select "Edit Signature" (You might have Create Signature or something. I don't know exactly what you'll get because I already have a signature to edit)

Most guys put something like what I have, but you can put whatever you want. Here is mine -
"AMS 700 (18 + 2 rte's). Implanted March 30, 2017 by Dr. Brock of London, Ont, CANADA. Great surgeon. Went in to septic shock and had to have implant removed April 29, 2017. I'm from Belleville, Ontario, CANADA. Appt. for consult for second attempt is on November 6, 2017... I can't wait."

Don't get too carried away with the doctor like his name, address, phone number, etc (anything that looks like advertising for him).. you can certainly say Dr. Jones (great Dr.)

If you need further help, please ask, that's what I'm here for.

From what I have read, and confirmed by my surgeon, when you cycle, pump it up until it's uncomfortable and then pump at least one more. Hold it there for a half hour.. (watch a sitcom). Do this at least once a day by of course, twice is twice as good. You have to stretch tissue that atrophied from lack of use. Finally, and if you haven't been told, I am sure you will be, keep cycling and give it more time. :)

I could be wrong, but I have heard the infra pubic incisions have a higher incidence of numbness. The main nerve and artery for the penis runs down the dorsal part (top). So an incision there may nick the nerve or artery, resulting in numbness and floppy head.

I'm not a doctor.

Freddy,

You are correct. That is why, if you are going that route, a very experienced doctor must be the the only choice. It is too close to the nerve-vascular bundle that it is easy to damage it.

First, you are still healing. And whichever technique the surgeon uses, it's a "major assault" on your dick! Give it more time and concentrate on the pleasures you can have.

Having had 3 Titan implants, I have numbness and cold glans. While I have several "numb spots", I have several other "not numb spots". When girls lick my "not numb" spots, we can both tell! My "top surgeon" was able to fix much of the first surgeon's mistakes, but not all. The first guy must have nicked the little blood vessel at the "bottom of the top" of my glans, leaving me with a cold glans and some reduced sensitivity.

Orgasming..... occasionally I have an "easy orgasm" but usually I have to work very hard for it and sometimes can't achieve a full orgasm. Sometimes I'll get what I think of as a "quasi orgasm", sometimes no orgasm at all. I cannot come by "jerking off". I can usually come by "flat fucking" the bed while watching (Asian... I've got the "yellow fever", no offense intended) porn. I can have some "good ones" that way.

With my first two implants, my favorite way to orgasm was "cowgirl" and I could keep coming for about as long as the girl would keep riding, resulting in some astonishing orgasms. With my current implant, much to my disappointment, I've yet to have a "cowgirl" orgasm. Surprisingly to me, I've had some great "Missionary" orgasms. If the girl is tiny enough, I can "flat fuck" her and often come that way. In our younger days, that was a favorite with my wife (a tiny Thai girl) and she and I both loved that position. In the past few months I've had pretty good luck with what I call the "lazy doggie". Girl face down with a pillow under her tummy and legs together, me with my knees to the outside of her hips. My first time like that with my favorite "skinny girl" produced a long, whimpering "Three Stooges" orgasm. Because my dick is so small, I thought the "lazy doggie" would only work with skinny girls but I've seen several "big assed chicks" and a change of angle is all I need. I can often but not always come that way.

All my sexual life, my FAVORITE thing has been eating pussy. It is still my favorite thing. I also REALLY enjoy having my balls licked and especially sucked. Some girls do Asian (ass licking) and, while it's not my favorite thing, damn it's nice. Our bodies and theirs are a smorgasbord of sexual pleasures. Seek them out!

Being implanted and being able to fuck is our, yours and mine, new reality. Pursue it, experiment, savor the pleasures that it does give you. And Good Luck!!

I know its easy to get discouraged but i have to tell you to be patient. It really is very early on for you. Cycling aggressively will strech your penis. Like larry said a signature is helpful for others to assist you and answer your questions. I am almost 7 mos post op and still pump rock hard for 60-90 minutes a day and feel i am still making progress. I also experienced numbness for a while. I now have a lot sensitivity but i could fuck for hours and never cum a second time. At this point i ll take what i can get and enjoy trying. Sometimes it takes a while to cum if i already did that morning or even the day before. Really, give it some time. Pump til your sore and hold it for as long as you can. Baths help or distract yourself reading or watching tv. My incision is in my sack. Dont give up, pump up !

Bionic, I'm coming up to 12 weeks and still have only about 20% sensation, it's slowly getting better though. I can orgasm but, as with Catman , i have to work hard to achieve it.

Bionic,

Sorry to hear about your issues . . . sounds a bit worse than typical but probably not unexpected and will hopefully get better with time.

I had a penoscrotal incision and have numbness around the incision and along the under side of my penis. I'm hoping it will eventually improve. I can orgasm by myself but occasionally during intercourse I can't get it to climax, it's a combo of pain, lack of sensitivity, and maybe overstimulation.

I'm at just over 3 months. I agree with Catman that anything is better than I was before, and at least I can now pleasure my wife. I think recovery from this is longer than we'd like. I was hoping by 3 months I'd be at 100% but I'm not there yet.
ED since 35 with no known cause -- injections successful for over a decade with 10/1/30 and less than 20units but that became ineffective. Implanted penoscratally by Dr. Kramer of Baltimore on 9/13/17 with AMS 700 LGX 21cm + 0.5cm RTE at 47 years old
