Small cox issue

Postby krdjango1960 » Tue Oct 31, 2017 1:35 pm

I had operation Aug/2017. Operation using AMS700 LGX with Dr. Gerald Brock, London, ON.
I had a case of peyronies caused by injection therapy. I required this operation because of heart disease and diabetes. Unable to use Viagra etc because it conflicted with heart meds.

First of all, I have a small penis. Presently, I lost 50% length and girth. I am so disappointed. Left messages for the doc and got no replies so far. My wife is also very disappointed with my lost manhood. Basically, my erection is not much larger than my normal flaccid size. I get hard when pumped but my lost size makes it difficult to enjoy sex.
I am having a difficult time writing this update without using a lot of obscene language.
In addition, My penis is naturally small when relaxed or in flaccid state but increases several time larger in length and girth. I feel my surgery was a failure.

Any advise would be appreciated.

Can you post some details:
- Size before: length/girth?
- Size after: length/girth?
- Implant size? any RTE (rear tip extender)?
- Where do you feel the implant stop in respect to the glans when flaccid and after inflation?

Thanks
Matt

I had an AMS LGX implanted 6 weeks ago today. I had lost 2" in erect length over the years, from age, ED and prostate removal. My flaccid size went from 5" from about age 16-50 to being 2" under perfect conditions, but it was retracted much of the time.

When I consulted with my surgeon he stretched my penis and said that was indicative of what my post surgery length would be. I went home and measured and saw it was 4 1/2". When I came home from surgery I was left partially erect and was 4". Now, after 6 weeks I am up to 5.5". I should also mention I had Peyronies, but not severe.

as was mentioned above, it would help us answer you if we had some info about your pre and post surgery sizes.

I am 64 and had ED from a VL. Implanted by Dr. Ronald Anglade in Atlanta on 9/18/17. I have an AMS700LGX 21 cm via a Penoscrotal incision. Very happy with results. 6" soft and 6 3/4” x 5 5/8” hard.

Why did you have to post this (believe me I'm grateful) but I'm getting surgery form him I'm onto I thought he was known not to do this... damn. I think it would be wise to give the others the size of your implant because it may be that you haven't been pumping to the max.

I had Dr. Brock as have a few others on here and he is my hero. Did you vacuum before surgery? Did you follow all of his instructions? Have you cycled? Are you cycling every day and pumping up as much as humanly possible? There are lots of people on here who did not follow all the instructions and lost size, but there are also lots of people on here that initially lost size but got it back. Dr. Brock is the Canadian version of Kramer or Eid. He has been published over 25 times, teaches internationally and has many awards... are you sure the doctor is the problem?

Please create a signature. It makes things much easier to answer your questions without asking a lot of questions. Here's how you do it
Click on your name in the top right corner and select "user control panel"

Then under the big letters "User Control Panel" there is a row of words... select "Profile"

Then down the left had side of the "User Control Panel" select "Edit Signature" (You might have Create Signature or something. I don't know exactly what you'll get because I already have a signature to edit)

Most guys put something like what I have, but you can put whatever you want. Here is mine -
"AMS 700 (18 + 2 rte's). Implanted March 30, 2017 by Dr. Brock of London, Ont, CANADA. Great surgeon. Went in to septic shock and had to have implant removed April 29, 2017. I'm from Belleville, Ontario, CANADA. Appt. for consult for second attempt is on November 6, 2017... I can't wait."

Don't get too carried away with the doctor like his name, address, phone number, etc (anything that looks like advertising for him).. you can certainly say Dr. Jones (great Dr.)

If you need further help, please ask, that's what I'm here for.

Reading your post prompted three immediate thoughts:

The best advice I can give you is to approach your surgeon with a soft attitude. You are entitled to your anger, of course, but it is prudent to communicate to him in the way most likely to elicit a sympathetic rather than defensive response. Diplomacy yields benefits even when swallowing your anger is bitter. By all means, tell him you your feelings, but in as non-confrontational way as you can muster. You can always switch to belligerence later if the need arises, but turning down the heat is very difficult.

Your measurements (flaccid, flaccid stretched and as erect as you can get by stimulation or with medication or pumping by vacuum or by implant) at various points in your life: 1) before ED, 2) at their worst, 3) immediately before surgery, 4) immediately after surgery and 5) currently would be helpful to us trying to give you advice. Also, the size and model of implant and the extent the tips extend into your glans when fully pumped up. These have been mentioned before, but my list includes a more complete size history than most men have recorded. So, to the best of your (or your wife's) memory will do. That history may have clues.

What is your history of cycling the implant since the operation in August 2017? That is, 1) First activation 2) frequency of cycling 3) duration of each cycle (e.g. 15 min at maximum discomfort level, for example or 5 min at max, then wait a bit before two more pumps, repeat until unable to continue) - breaking up the scar tissue capsule that started forming around the implant immediately after surgery is painful, but necessary and may take weeks or months of diligent, assertive even aggressive cycling.

Thanks for all your responses. I will post details re: AMS size etc. I have to confirm with the doctor.
By the way, I did not intend to be negative about doctor Brock. I am sure he did his best. In my situation, he did not advise me about using a pump prior to surgery and only recently found out about issues on Franks chat, after surgery. My pre surgery advise mainly came from youtube clips. Dr. Brock did not provide that kind od information before surgery. I did not ask a lot because I expected he would know best due to his experience.
I really wished I was informed about pumping before.

Size erect before: Length 4.5" after: 3" Girth not measured but after surgery significantly less.

Presently, I notice that after releasing fluid via pump, my penis gets hard without pumping. Possible valve issue?
