My Implant experience

Hi Guys,

I am 33Yrs suffering from ED since 4 years. I got implanted with Dr. Kramer on 20th September. My surgery was a little difficult one because of my anatomy. I was initially implanted with LGX 18+3rte but that didn't fit in me. Doctor had to use the narrow cylinders and I finally got 16CM+5CM RTE CXR implant.

Immediately after surgery I took oxycodone 2 pain pills. After that I have never used any pain pills. I was in the hospital overnight and I didn't have much swelling on 2nd day.

On day 2 they opened my dressing and I was very concerned seeing my penis curved and bent in the shaft and also swollen. I was very afraid seeing my condition. Dr. Kramer told its normal and the bent will be gone in 4 weeks.

Day 3-6 No pain pills and no Advil...but my scortum was swollen like a grapefruit. I also had major discomfort with my reservoir, I couldn't cough..it gave me deep pain.

Day 7 Started to use some Advil 2 tabs in the night before sleep. My scortum felt as if it's attached to the skin inside the scortum. Most of the swelling gone..pain from reservoir gone..

Day 8 walked for a mile and got some pain in the night. My walking is like small baby steps..it's not like normal walking...I could feel the pump in hot shower. 60% swellings gone.. but the incision still has slight oozing. The incision is not healed, I could see clear reddish tissue on the incision. Still the pump looks like it's attached inside.

Day 9 After meddling with pump some how there is some slight improvement on the sticking part but the pump is high and middle on the scortum. I wish it comes down. I tried pulling but it wouldn't come down. I have feeling that tubing maybe little short which is restricting it to come down.

Day 10 Walked for a mile, still baby steps and short steps... I got pain in the night and took Advil before sleep. Incision turned pink colour. Penis has not swelling..Still has the bent of 60 degree in the shaft..

Day 11 I felt some pain in the scortum. Very little waking. Still short steps and very slow walking. The pain is mostly from left side of scortum and little below the incision area. I felt some slight swelling return in the scortum.

Day 12 Not much improvement today as well. The swelling looked the same level as of day 9. Took Advil in the night as I had some pain.

Day 13 Swelling didn't improve much as well. I still have about 30% swelling internal. Still short steps only... couldn't walk normally. I couldn't even ice as it's painful putting ice. When I had swelling there was no issue to ice. I could constantly put ice for 2-3 mins. But now even putting ice for 30 seconds hurts...

I will keep posting my updates from now on until my complete recovery.

Don't "over-do" ..... Be patient...... Some heal slower than others.... Good luck!

Guys, I'm on day 16. Swelling is slightly down... but still have pain after I walk for a mile... still short steps only...I need an advice from guys who got implanted here..my stiches are dissolvable...my concern here is that still there is slight pus like drainage from the incision... it's very little. It doesn't ooze much but it just comes very little and sticks to the incision itself... it's little sticky... had to clean with a towel... it's very little though..is this normal at 2 weeks... ? I couldn't attach any pics here... it says file too large :(

I got activated by Dr. Kramer today. Still have a bit pain at the base of penis.. i.e at the base where my left cylinder is placed. I think it's the pain from my surgery where incision is made to fit my left cylinder.. It's still very tender there and slight a bit of swelling internal. It like a poking pain there...

I couldn't inflate my implant to 3:00 o clock position but was inflated upto 3:25 position... Dr. Kramer me suggested to inflate for 5 mins daily and wait a minute and squeeze two more pumps... he asked me to do this exercise for at least 6 months every day... he brought me Advil for pain which I had when it was inflated...

Now I could walk better... but still I do have some pain after walking... hopefully it may resolve in next 2 weeks...

I had some questions on RTE... he mentioned that RTE are inside the pubic area and since the inflatable are outside... so it won't effect the implant working mechanism...

You're just a month ahead of me so I'm interested in your progress also. I'm still having some pain and have yet to be activated. Sitting and get up and down cause me pain in my right lower pubic area just above the scrotum.

Hi All,

It’s been 6 weeks now and everything is healed completely, I can walk without any discomfort and absolutely no pain at all. In fact after 4 weeks you will not have any pain...Had successfully used my implant for sex. Sex is very natural and I’m overall satisfied with my implant. My only issue is I’m not able to hide the bulge on pants in flaccid state. Except that everything is fantastic.
