Type of anaesthetic

Which type of anaesthetic did you have for your implant (general, spinal, epidural, local, etc)?
Any complications or after effects?

General

No problems but a little slower coming back to fully alert than times before. Maybe, I am older? :D

I had a general anesthetic for both implants - no side effects on the first - was extremely nauseous every two hours from day 2 to day 6 even at night after the second implant. I attribute that to the anesthesis.

General. I asked Dr. Kramer what agent was used, and he said he didn't know: he leaves that up to the anesthesiologist.

I had a general. My recovery time is always extended. For another surgery I had a spinal. If given a choice I would have the spinal over general. Your still somewhat sedated. Your aware but you don't care.

Having with surgery with Eid on Oct 5th, he uses spinal. Kramer told me over the phone that his staff will most likely use general.
Titan OTR. Dr. Hakky - successful surgery and very happy with outcome.
My advice: choose a world-class surgeon and make yourself the healthiest you can.

I had a general. (I tell guys that I was glad I was asleep because if I were awake and knew people down there were measuring my penis, I would have died from embarrassment! )

Eid commented to me that spinal causes more blood flow to the penis/scrotum during the surgery, which he prefers. I just hope the spinal makes the patient completely unconscious.

No it does not. It is also called an epidural by some. You are COMPLETELY conscious.
