First, what a great thread this is. Thanks to all the contributors. I am 64, going to Urologist in March to talk about Implants. I have seen all the youtube videos and done as much research as I can. I was convinced that I was going to tell him I dont want all that stuff in my scrotum and dont want to pump 30-40 times in the middle of random play. I was convinced that the new Tactra Malleable from Boston Scientific was for me. I am on the small side flacid, like 3-4inches, maybe 5-6 erect and like someone said earlier, if I have a bulge, I think I would be happy with that. My concern is, I have looked at every pic on here and dont see one with the Tactra. There is another thread that has a porn star that has one. It looks amazing but I guess I am looking for the everyday guy and what his thoughts are on the constant hardon. Also, just curious, did you guys tell the surgeon what type of device you wanted or did they tell you?

You jumping too fast. Hold on to what you have and once you are convinced talk to a Uro. He will tell you your options but the idea of getting a malleable right away should be your last resort.

Thanks Marco. I have been wrestling with this problem for 10 years. I think I have tried every pill imaginable. Haven't tried the injections because well, I just couldn't. And from what I have read in these boards, those are a temporary fix. So, I am looking forward to talking with the Uro in March. Thanks again for all input.

I went in thinking a Titan may give me more girth and I wanted a scrotal procedure. My doc had 30 years experience and told me guys 6" and under like AMS 700 better. I was 1 1/2 inch flaccid before and 5 1/2 flaccid after. 6 "x4.5 hard. Pubic approach.

Thanks oldbeek. Now, is it Tactra, Rigicon or Ams 700?...I guess, and hope my doc tells me what he thinks is best for my situation. I'm getting tired of looking at all the youtube videos. Thanks for the update

I'm now 4 weeks post surgery. Super happy with my implant. Still a little sore, but it's as long or longer than before... albeit slightly less thick... but not much. Well worth it.
