I've been using injections for over a decade and they've become significantly less effective over the last few months. So I've begun to consider implants . . .

The first most intriguing motivator for implant is obviously a worry free hard erection. The second is that it puts control of the erection back in my court. No more injections, or anxiety, or beat the clock, or loss of spontaneity, or damn I forgot the syringes on my trip.

My motivation was a dead dick. Nothing worked except VED (hated it). Now no longer dead. Always hard and ready for action anytime. Happily Implanted.

One of the biggest reasons I see on here for not liking the needles or Viagra/Cialis is due to loss of spontaneity . I thing our wives could do the pumping for us to get them into it. That's what I plan to do. I just gotta make sure she's grabbing the right nut

I am scheduled for implant surgery in mid-September. My main motivation is to be able to have a satisfying sex life, but the implant will also solve two other issues I deal with.

Currently my dick retracts much of the time. When I step up to a urinal, I can't just unzip and pee. I have to dig around to find it. With the implant that can't happen.

I have just developed Peyronies. The implant will take care of that, too and catch it before it becomes a worse problem.

I swim laps for exercise. Like most lap swimmers I wear Lycra swimwear to avoid drag in the water. Even when I first put it on, the front looks pretty flat. After shrinkage from the cool pool water, it is really empty looking. I will be proud to sport a bulge again like I had a few years back.

The spontaneity will be great, too. Injections, pills, pumping, etc. sure do spoil that.

An implant will definitely change some things. I used to dig for my dick too. It was 2-3 inches on a good day. Sometimes just a button. I had to pull it out to pee. Now I have a constant 6" dick, it's wonderful and yes the tighter the clothes the more impressive the package. When I am erect, I am right about 7". I love my new implanted dick and my wife (who wants to fuck all the time) is very pleased with the new me. Is this incentive enough. You bet it is. The spontaneous sex is still there. My wife sucks I pump, she sucks more, I pump more till It's good hard and ready. She also loves deflating me. Loves to feel the 'buzz'. So do I.

Oh yeah, the memories. The injections only lasted about 3 years for me. What you say is all true. You're making the right decision, so just do it! And oh yes Donnie, I love that buzz!

I made up my mind to get an implant even before I tried the injections....I tried the injections (and they worked) just to try them, but the process is inconvenient and encumbering....I had relatively little down time between the pills not working and getting implanted......one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life......

When you press the deflate button on the AMS pumps, they kind of make a buzzing sound for three or 4 seconds. It's not loud, barely audible. But you sure can feel the vibrations from the buzz. You then release the button, and proceed to squeeze and drain the rest back into the reservoir. When I'm squeezing the shaft I can hear the liquid going back into the reservoir. Pretty cool.
