Cost of implant ??

Postby Flannigan » Wed Jul 19, 2017 4:34 pm

Hey mates,

I am guessing that I will have a very difficult time convincing my insurance company that I need an implant. I am still able to achieve a decent erection on my own with heavy stimulation. I am currently using Trimix with good success.

So I'm wondering what an implant would cost me roughly if I were to pay for it in cash out of pocket ? I hear it's a lot cheaper in Canada too.

Your responses are appreciated.

Thanks
Flannigan

Put "implant cost" or something similar in the Search Box, lots of good info to be found.

$20,000 to $25,000. Some doctors are more, some less.

My hospital bill was $17,600, surgeon was $6100. Anesthesia $1045. My insurance took care of most of mine.

My surgery with Eid in October will cost $26,000. If there is a mechanical failure with the first ten years, the cost of revision is ~$3,500. Keep in mind hospital fees fluctuate, so do currency rates if you are out of country.

My estimated total cost for surgery + traveling + loss of time at work will be about ~$30,000.
Titan OTR. Dr. Hakky - successful surgery and very happy with outcome.
My advice: choose a world-class surgeon and make yourself the healthiest you can.

About the same w/ Dr. Kramer ($25,000)...BCBS/Anthem covered everything but a $35.00 co-pay...

Smallbutsure,
I am assuming that is without any insurance coverage. Is that correct ? $25K out of pocket ?

Thanks

updated: 70 y.o., implanted with titan nov. 3 by Dr. Brady in orlando to correct peyronies. 20 cm with 3 cm RTEs. due to the severity of the peyronies, some internal excisions were made scrotally, recovery will probably take a little longer.
