How much size is typically lost

Postby Flannigan » Tue Jul 18, 2017 2:36 pm

Bonic brothers,

I have been suffering from ED for about 7 years now. Up to this point the pills (mainly Viagra) have been working fine but I can no longer deal with the severe side effects. Until getting on this site, I never imagined getting a penile implant but now that I am here and reading all of the posts I am starting to think that it might be in my future.

I just starting using the Trimix injections and they are very effective (almost too effective) but they completely remove the spontaneity from sex and I feel like I need to block off 2 hours at the right time to have sex. My girlfriend is not really digging it either since it feels like she is having sex with a dildo than me.

Anyway...I am starting to consider an implant. I am currently about 6.5" length and about 6" girth at full erection. Like a beer can. So my question is....how much length and girth can I expect to lose if I go thru with this ? Unfortunately for me my GF ex husband was hung like a damn elephant with length and girth so if I lose much more than I have now she might not even know I am inside of her

As always...your comments are appreciated.

Cheers
Flannigan

With the right doctor, using the right implant, and with you being very, very patient, you shouldn't lose any length or girth. (It took me several years to get it all back, but I also had 2 years of atrophy before the implant was put in.)

I lost no length and gained a little girth.

I didn't lose anything. Go with a top surgeon. Barring any scarring and or peyronies you should keep your size with a top surgeon.

At 53 years old the first thing I would do is get an appointment with your urologist to see if your insurance will cover the implant unless money is not a factor. If you are going to rely on insurance they will want to know you tried everything before they will cover it. I wouldn't tell the urolagest that the trimix is working great. Insurance may not buy the fact they because your girl friend dosnt like the feel is a good reason to give you a implant. I hate to say it but you have to play the game with these insurance companies. That is purely my opinion, others are free to disagree.

Tybeeman,
That's good advice. I know all too well the games that must be played these days to get anything done with the damn insurance companies. I guess I need to start playing the game now in order to get implanted in 5 years and by then my GF will have probably moved on. ED sucks.

I am only 23 days post op so I can't tell you how great it is. But I can tell you that your ED is going to steadily get worse. Do it before those shots give you scaring and you lose length

I didn't really lose anything erection-wise.....but gained a massively good sized flaccid.....girth is good at >140mm......works incredibly well with no fuss inflating and deflating. Biggest change is just how stiff it is...and that can be adjusted to suit with ease. Yes you end up with a third testicle but even that is no big deal :)
All the fuss and worry has pretty much subsided and life is good with the added confidence of an erection that goes any distance you need it to.
