Implanted Monday 6/26

Postby Tybeeman » Wed Jun 28, 2017 10:37 am

I was going to post earlier, but I took it easy and laid in bed with a bag of ice for 2 days. Now on my 4 hour trip home. Everything went great and about the way everyone here said it would be. Very little pain just sore. They just took my drain out this morning so my swelling has not been bad. One good advise that one of you told me that worked out great was to get a hospital urinal. Made yesterday after catheter came easier. So surgery 7:15 Monday now over 48 hours that first shower was great. I plan to lay in bed this afternoon and tomorrow with ice. Hoping for a good weekend.

Dr Blick
a lot of people on here seem to stay overnight in the hospital. my dr. seemed to think I would leave a few hours after surgery. is that realistic?
updated: 70 y.o., implanted with titan nov. 3 by Dr. Brady in orlando to correct peyronies. 20 cm with 3 cm RTEs. due to the severity of the peyronies, some internal excisions were made scrotally, recovery will probably take a little longer.

Yep, I went through that a few times myself, having doubt. Haven't thought that way in a week. Hang in, it will get better. Man, you're still in early stages. After a week I started feeling much better. Now in my third week, I'm feeling great. Also it helps to get the number of a member thats been through it. You can text anytime with questions. One member really helped me out a great deal.
