Are not you afraid that the implant will fail?

Actually, I count on it failing at year ten. If it lasts longer ---- great.

If implant lasts not that long --- oh well -- tough luck.

In my life, I have had really good luck in some things, and really bad luck in others; there is an inability to predict things.

What is certain, however, is that I am thrilled and counting on at least five years of great "having sex like a stud", and that, my friend, makes it all worthwhile.

Many implantees state that if it fails, they "will be on the next plane over to see their implant surgeon---probably that week"

And, by the way, the analogy to a cool sportscar is quite on the mark:

Just like the car, the implant will last 8 to 15 years.
Just like the car, the cost is around 30 grand.
Just like the car, it will be clear at the expiration point, whether you should re-up for another car, or hang it up and pursue gardening, music, and art.
"Strive to find the best surgeon--experience really matters"

I know is not healthy to think about that when you already got the implant, and when you will need it neither. But I think is not for sissies think about this, I will need it and when I need the implant I will go for it but probably when I get the implant I will be vigilant about the care of the implant, trying not to hit it or to damage it as little as possible, I am this way, it is not healthy I know, but surely I will be careful not to make any mistake, I have a somewhat obsessive personality.

I only want to know how do you, people, avoid not obsessing with this thought, or rather, how do you avoid not always being careful not to damage the implant or treat it properly?

Another question do you feel that the implant is a foreign body down there? Or comes a time when it feels like a part of you?

Thanks Donnie. Appreciate that. A big dick would be nice, but I'll settle for a stiff one.

8-) Stiff for as long as you want. It's an awesome invention. Do I worry that it will fail? Never. If it happens 10-12 years from now, Ill be 75 and I'll get a new one. Live one day at a time. God holds your future in His hands.

That's how I feel. If I get 10 years out of it, I'll be 72, so if I need to go in for a replacement, oh well.

Donnie, last night I took a 100 mg Viagra pill. No it didn't get me hard, but I am still feeling the effects, I am walking around with a plump one, from the increased blood flow. Nice feeling down there, it feels alive again. I'm guessing, you probably don't feel this anymore with an implant.

Ed,
Strangely enough the implant seals part of the venous leakage. When visually or physically stimulated, I feel a tingle down there and a slight erection.
