Cold Glans

Postby longdayze » Sat Apr 29, 2017 11:08 pm

Guys, since my revision surgery 5 weeks ago, the head of my member is cold to the touch. I hope this is temporary as cold and sex not a great combination. I hope the sensation and temperature will be restored to pre-implant. Has anyone had their Glans cold sensation improve over time, and if so how long before I can expect improvement? I've read comments that some men still use Viagra in an effort to plump their Glans, I hate the effects of all the ED drugs, one reason I opted for the implant.

...I've had that same cold temperature sensation along my entire penis. I never quite understood why...it would seem that the saline being pumped into the cylinders would already be at body temperature. Somewhere I read that if that cold temperature is a problem, you should wrap a warm washcloth on your penis before any sexual activity...

I am only 5 weeks post op, but I have the same cold glans as you describe. Dr. Kramer prescribed Tri-Mix gel. I worked fine, but the ache was very painful so that is not an option for me. Like you I hate the ED drugs. If you think about it, the simple act of pumping up your implant really should have no effect on your glans. Only arousal can do that. I had great sex last night, and was encouraged that I had some engorgement of the glans. I am hoping that continues. If you could fill your corpora naturally with blood without arousal, I should think you would have the same problem as the blood supply to the glans is from a different pipe.

Lets hope it improves for both of us.

That's a new one. Never had a cold dick head. Always warm as pre implant. No complaints when being sucked or touched. I would discuss this with the Dr. Good luck.

I had very cold glans after my first (botched) implant...... I'd sit at the slot machines with one hand discretely over my dick, warming the head. I had it but not as bad after my first revision. I have it considerably worse now after my second revision . I'm 9 or so weeks past second revision (third implant). Laying naked on my back is the worst. I do the "hot and colds" twice a day and have been using my vacuum pump some, but it rubs on my tubing and left like a little rash.

I believe it is cold because of less blood getting to it. I'm hoping it will get better with time. Other than cold head, my third implant it great.

I've told some of my partners that it give a totally different meaning to "I'm gonna cold-cock you"......

Good luck to all of us...)))
