I live 30 minutes from Dr Lue UCSF office. Yet, I travelled to New York City to see Dr Eid for my implant. I am a savvy customer of medical care. I am super happy with the results and recovery I received from Dr Eid, and getting to New York is no big deal.
On the return trip, I paid for business class flat seat (see my thread on "packing list for hotel")

Dr David in Sherman Oaks did my surgery on 3/27. I've had a few complications, mainly my incision didn't heal right and opened up about an inch. Dr David was great, his staff was great and I would personally recommend him. Good luck!

At age 79, three months shy of 80th birthday, I had implant installed by Dr. John Grimaldi, Chula Vista, CA (suburb of San Diego). He is hard working, quiet, easy going guy with lot of implant experience and other uro surgery. My implant is working just fine. It took a long time to heal and to know that the surgery was successful, but that was due to my age and personal anatomy. I highly recommend Dr. Grimaldi. He was trained by Perito in Florida and follows the infra pubic method.
