Can an implant regain lost size?

Lets say you lost length and girth because of Peyronie's...could an implant regain that lost size or will you end up with your shrunk size?

The good doctors will tell you that your erection will not be longer than what your God-given Tunica is. If there's scar tissue and/or plaque on the Tunica, that's going to limit how much length you'll get.

That said, Eid, Kramer, and others will remove any plaque/scar tissue that's accessible while doing the implant. That can possibly restore some pre-Peyronie's loss.

I've thought of something regarding Peyronie's and implants, but too late for me. I wonder if getting treated with Xiaflex injections to break up the plaque before going forward with an implant would give the patient more length than just an implant on a Peyronie's-affected penis. I asked a doc about Xiaflex, and he was willing to do it, but there's a 14% chance of penis fracture.

Per my local urologist I was administered verapmil and xiaflix - over a year and a half of injections for both treatment modalities and then followed up with my implant. The verapmil and xiaflix did nothing to help with my curvature- in fact it made it significantly worse. In my opinion I have not seen any benefit either pre or post implant.

Interesting. That makes me feel a little better about not trying the Xiaflex route. I do wish I'd never done injections, though. Those caused scar tissue which reduced length.

Yes. I agree. I was much better off before the injections - lost at least 1/2-3/4" from scar tissue/peyroines- most of it caused by the injections.

Yeah, I posted a warning about that over in the Injections forum, but all of those guys say it's not true.

It happened to me and I only used the shots a handful of times. Scar tissue formed and it bent upwards. I wish I had gotten the implant first and skipped the shots.

So the implant did not fix your bend?

Does this mean you still have a curved penis even after getting an implant?

Same here! Mine developed a bend to the left. Luckily I'm straight now with an implant.
