This picture is looking toward the medical center from the portico of the Holiday Inn. The street is Lombard Street which is one block north of Pratt street where the Light rail train stops at the Convention Center stop. The tall building furthest in the back of the picture on the tight is the the Hospital where the surgery center and doctor's office is. 3 blocks from Days Inn ( Nicer than Holiday and wish we were next door there). Hyatt, Mariot, Days, and Holiday are all within 1-3 blocks.

Did you check out the strip club? It's on that first intersection. Called The Goddess.

I had to include a picture of a fine new Jaguar on the doctors parking lot. Wife's favorite color.
When you walk up Lombard street the Hospital will be on the right corner on the other side of Green Street. Take a right and 1/2 block up you will see this entrance. That is where you go in for surgery or to see Doctor Kramer.

When you walk in the circular door at UMMC this is what you see. This will be your first stop to check in for surgery. If you go left, there is a nice deli. Baked goods, sandwiches, fruit cups, salads and soups. Sandwiches run about $7-8. We stocked up on $40 in food so my wife does not have to go out much.

Good luck tomorrow. You're in very good hands and should have a great outcome. Excellent news on the insurance also - it's about time things turned around.

I remember UMMC well - it's a great facility, and luckily for me I live less than half an hour away.

to get to the doctor's office, refer to the previous picture then this one. This is to your right when you walk in the door. That is to the right of where you would check in for surgery. Down the hall on your right is the elevator. Go down 1 floor to Urology to see the doctor.

From the Train stop convention center at Pratt street you can see the back side of the Holiday 1 block over. Marriot, Days and Hyatt are all within a block. The beige color building with the circular top is Holiday.

Good luck tomorrow, ali. I'm glad the people in B-more are treating you well.
I could relate some stories about the strip clubs, but that's for another day lol.
I did always want to see Blaze Starr, and regret never going to see her at the (then) 2 O'clock club.

There are places to get food within 1 block of hotels. chipotles is across the street from the Convention center train stop. Mainly a Taco place. Jimmy John's is on the same corner as the train stop. They will deliver to your room. Water is $1.90 a bottle. subway is next door to Chipotles, then next to Subway is Luna Del Sea is next to Subway.
