Revision 2017
Re: Revision 2017
Or you could see Bruce Garber in Philly. Very well regarded implant surgeon.
Dave, 80, Maryland - Implant (Titan) 2008 by Dr. Andrew Kramer (failed Sept 2020) - never used due to a stroke that, among other things, ended my sex life.
Life is not the way it's supposed to be, it's the way it is.

Re: Revision 2017
Thank you for the kind words.
I went through 15 doctors in 2014, 2015 trying to get this done. Anything from won't do it to excuses, don't take your insurance or only a 2 piece or rigid rod. There are 2 regional hospitals of over 300 beds each and 1000 physicians within 7 miles of me. There are others here that traveled 1/2 way across the country because of the squabbling nasty attitude poorly performing doctors we have in the midwest also. Sometimes travel is warranted or required. I really think the better outcomes are the product of doctor skill AND the number of surgeries they try to cram into a day. Time limit pressure has to affect outcome and doctor concentration and is a known cause for cutting corners.
On a good note, one of our suppliers treated my wife and I to lunch today and I repaired the rebar cutter and bender. Overall a beautiful day. Cheers boys.

LGX 21cm .Milam 01/13/16. Horror; both service and surgical outcome. hated infrapubic installation. Kramer revision 03/01/17. 22cm Titan +1.5cm extender. Those who think their opinion is the only one that matters are a danger to themselves and others.

dg_moore,
I cant post the evidence, but I distinctly remember multiple people on FT being displeased with Garber's work. Its a name, similar to the guy at Vanderbilt, who I have categorized as a too high of risk potential for my preferences.
A quick healthgrades search on him reveals he has sub par ratings compared to Eid/Kramer.

Titan OTR. Dr. Hakky - successful surgery and very happy with outcome.
My advice: choose a world-class surgeon and make yourself the healthiest you can.

A wise man does plenty of research. Wish I had. Do your research and find your path. Best wishes to you.

Re: Revision 2017
As warrenw linked.
I simply googled 'Dr. Garber urology healthgrades'
I mean im sure most of his surgeries are good. But thats not what I want. I want the top f*cking best in the world. That way I minimize my chance of needing a premature revision.
