For ice bags, I would suggest buying a couple of "Mueller Ice Bag, Blue, 9 Inch". I bought them on Amazon, but I'm sure your local pharmacy carries them.

Their screw-on tops don't leak and they hold up FAR better than even freezer zipper bags.They are a little thick and slightly fuzzy so you won't get ice burns in one of our most sensitive areas. The down side is they cost money.

But I feel they are worth it to me.

Tangerine, thanks for resurrecting this thread.
I just answered a few questions on what to bring to a NYC hotel. I have no idea, but put in my $.02 on what I thought. This list is a big help.

Just went through all the packing list ideas/information. I have copied & pasted all the info, much appreciated.

I will also find out if my wife(legally blind) goes with me if she can be my companion to pick me up at ME&EI.
