The same thing is happening to me right now. I am barely 2 and a half weeks out from my PPI. I noticed my scrotum has attached to the pump as well and whenever I attempt to pump the bulb to start cycling, it’s painful and feels as though the skin is ripping. I’ve told the doctor, his associate and their PA what’s happening and none of them seem to be concerned. I’ve already had a CT scan because of what they say is a hematoma. They just told me to finish the antibiotics and the doctor would see me in a week to reassess. I certainly hope all this gets better soon.

I have a ams cx, i wouldn't be too concerned, my cx was coated with an antibiotic when installed, they come that way. The unit was a preconnected unit so he tacked it to my scrotum to keep in place cause of the xtra tubing. It was rough for awhile pumping, but after 5 months it came loose from the pump. I tried pulling it off earlier on but couldn't, hurt like hell trying. Everything is good now, just give it time it will take care of itself and after 4-5 months of pumping it should come off.

I had this issue primarily due to my penoscrotal webbing removal procedure during my IPP surgery. My incision of 4+" along the underside of my shaft and extending to half of my scrotum, caused my pump to adhere itself during the healing process. It took over a year of manipulation but I finally achieved release and have had no trouble since. No infection, fever, inflammation, etc. And better yet, NO doc interference/ cost.

That’s for responding and for your words of encouragement.
