You picked the right surgeon. Dr. Kramer is one of the best in my opinion. I'm a little over 4 weeks post-op and couldn't be happier with the results. It's not perfect because he was dealing with a lot of scar tissue from my prior implant but he did a great revision on me.Happy Camper.

Thanks for the well wishes guys. I knew of Dr. Kramer's reputation from others on this board. I searched his name and found over 500 references to him, almost all positive. I watched a lot of his videos. I was delighted when I learned that he was "in network" for my insurance.

He's been great with preliminary Emails. He had a great, reassuring bedside manner at my office appointment this morning. He's very professional. I'm glad I chose him. At least right now I am.

6:15 in the morning. Here we come.

Thanks, Rev. Donnie. Rev. J.B. will be laid up in the hotel room until he returns home by plane on Saturday. I have a laptop and an ice bag. Should be good to go.

Update. The surgery is done. Dr. Kramer is fabulous. He is enthusiastic in his work and is so concerned with his patients. He's so thorough in talking with you. Has a great bedside manner and is eager to please. All in all, it was a good experience this morning.

The worst part so far is that damn catheter. I don't think I've ever had one and it makes me feel a really strong urge to pee. Have to keep it in till morning.

Dr. Kramer doesn't think the swelling will be bad, certainly not grapefruit size. That's good to hear!!

I have a copy of the video of the surgery. Can't wait to see it!! This guy is a pro.

The catheter is indeed a nuisance - but it'll be gone soon (if not already), and the removal process is quick and easy. A suggestion - take the hospital urinal home with you. It will come in very handy for the first couple of days

Congratulations! Keep us posted - the cath is annoying but will come out no prob. . . I had to wear mine for five days when I left Kramer - took it out myself! Happy Healing!
