Implant Curve Upward

Postby olerunner » Thu Aug 25, 2016 8:38 pm

Hi,

6 weeks since my implant and I am doing very well, hope to try it out soon. Trying to catch wife in a good mood :) I had a mild case of peyronies before surgery. I thought an implant would solve the slight curve upward. My doctor told me it would get more straight over time. I was curious if anyone else had experienced this and If indeed it got straighter. Thanks!

This is a concern for me. I have my surgery upcoming on October 12, 2016 in Baltimore with Dr. Kramer. I asked him about this and showed him a picture of my Peyronie's. He immediately wrote back and said he is able to correct Peyronie's up to about 70% and my 30% would not be a problem. He's supposed to be about the best out there, so I'm hopeful. I'd hate to get this implant and still be all curved.

I had some Peyronies (upward and to the right). The implant stretched it right out.

I had a serious upward bend due to Peyronies. That was a major reason I sought an implant. During my consultation with Dr. Milam at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center, he assured me could straighten my curve. He did so, and two-plus years later, my sexy wife and I are very happy with my implant.

I had severe pyronies prior to my surgery, after the implant it curves upwards some but its much better than before I was implanted. I had Dr Eid do the surgery and I have zero complaints! :)
