48 hours and counting

Postby rglassva » Tue Aug 16, 2016 8:42 am

Hey guys - so exactly 48 hours from now I'll be headed to Norfolk, VA to HOPEFULLY receive my implant from Dr. Kurt McCammon - a reconstructive urologic surgeon who was recommended to me by Dr. Kramer after his unsuccessful attempt to implant me last August. Surgery scheduled for 1p on Thursday - a 4-hour time slot since Dr. McCammon pretty much knows he'll need to split me open to carve out scar tissue in order to get the implant cylinders in :o . Even so, he's still not sure he'll be able to get both cylinders in so thoughts and prayers from everyone would be much appreciated. Will report in again as soon as I'm able - expecting to stay in the hospital all 23 hours that are allowed for out-patient procedures, then in a hotel Friday night. Hope that ice machine is close by!
Until Friday . . . .
