Increased length or girth?

It has been awhile since I've been on the site, but I have one question.
I had my surgery last year, (May 2015) with the AMS LGX700. I have heard others talk about after a period of time, the LGX will expand in length and girth. I was 7 1/2 inches before surgery and now I'm 6 1/4". And approximately 5" in girth, but have not noticed any increase in length or girth since the surgery. Any input or data revealing any increases would be appreciated. Thx

I don't remember but I think it was 18 or 20 with rte's

If it was no more than 20cm, then you probably are right around your size limit. The general rule of thumb is that around 1/3 of the implant is inside the body. This is just a ballpark estimate. Do your tips go all the way into your glans?

I also had an LGX installed in May 2015. I'm pretty sure your implant must have been larger than 18cm including rte's. That was what I had and I am nowhere near 6 inches

I think I have misunderstood what the claim of lengthening 20% really means. I have not over the past year become noticeably permanently longer than my before surgery length, certainly not inches longer or girthier either for that matter. What I have noticed though, is that during inflation the implant (and therefore my penis) becomes longer and girthier and stays that way while inflated, BUT once deflation is complete, the implant (and therefore my penis) returns to the flaccid state, ie reduced girth and length. Pre-surgery I was definitely a grower and with my implant expanding in both directions while inflated, I have remained a grower.

For me, anyway, the implant claim of 20% growth is quite true but does not result in a permanent gain in length. The plus side with the LGX is my erect and flaccid state are much more like what I had pre-surgery, more natural. A bonus really as I don't have to worry about and deal with a pant snake.

I am going to have to double check length it may have been 22cm. And yes implant extends into glans.

It sounds to me like you have not been pumping enough to get the full benefit of the 18% expansion capability of the AMS LGX700. Added to the current 22CM that would give you a fully inflated length of 26CM (25.96). If you do have at least 1CM RTEs on each side that would give you the total expanded length of 27CM.

I am 7-1/2" as well. I was implanted with a 26CM Titan and 1CM RTEs on each side. For about the first year I thought I had lost about a 1/2 inch in length. Then I started pumping much more aggressively (until I incurred some pain and/or discomfort).
After about 3 months I regained that last 1/2 inch.

If you take 30% of 27CM for the below the pubic bone portion of the implant that would leave approximately 19CM above the pubic bone. 19CM is equal to 7.48".
.002" is the same as 1/512".

I guess that I need to be more aggressive with my pumping. I need to pump up a couple times a day and until there is some discomfort. Hopefully I haven't waited to Long to do this, thx

Hello tgrind, yeah I don't pump to max with the discomfort but looks like I will Make that effort now, start mwfsun, then grad to every day until September giving me 5 month post op. I guess just got to dedicate no pain no gain lol :D

One thing I forgot to mention in my previous post. It was my surgeon that told me I should be pumping to the point of discomfort for at least a year.
