Trying a long shot here. I had my implant a few years ago and I've been pleased and it works great.
I'm moving to France this summer and I know one of these years I will need a replacement. I want to make contact with a surgeon quickly after I arrive to turn over my records and talk to see how comfortable I am. I will be living in the Alsace region, so I imagine since Strasboug is the largest city there, it most likely will happen there, although I could take a train to Paris.
Are there any members here that are from France or know of any doctors there?

Alsace is a few minutes from my hometown Freiburg, Black Forest, Germany. There is a CENTER OF EXCELLENCE, the place where I have received my implant, a Coloplast Titan Zero Degree 22 + 3 cm. When it comes to implants the doc is one of three best in Germany.

HI, Yes I am French and have received an implant two months ago, in Paris, but it is no more working... terrible experience, so I dont know who recommand...

Is it possible to have a little more informations about this CENTER OF EXCELLENCE and the surgeon ? Thanks !

Hi, the hospial is called UNIVERSITÄTSKLINIK - UROLOGIE, FREIBURG. The doctors are Dr. Christian Leiber and Prof. Dr. Ulrich Wetterauer. Dr. Leiber has done many implants, he is regarded as one of Germany's top surgeons for penile implants. Both AMS and Coloplast presented him with a CENTER OF EXCELLENCE CERTIFICATE.

shadowwolfe, not everything written on a forum has to be true. One can write anything... If the doc would be a lousy one, that hospital wouldn't be a AMS/COLOPLAST CENTER OF EXCELLENCE.

Thanks all. I am in France now and living in the Alsace area. As soon as I get my medical card, I will search for a doctor.
