AMS LGX ADVICE

Postby SteveH » Sat Mar 14, 2015 7:17 am

Had an AMS LGX fitted 4 weeks ago this morning I thought a nice hot bath and familiarise myself with the new plumbing found the pump located the release button and tried a pump - pump seems rock hard -no pop from valve - tried a quick pump tried a slow pump still no luck
I hope its me and not a faulty part to be replaced
ADVICE PLEASE
Not due back to Hospital till 25th March for checking

I found that if I squeeze the deflate button for a couple of seconds first, then wait for a couple more seconds I get the pop and inflation almost without fail.

SteveH, it’s pretty common for the bulb to feel extremely hard at first. Grab the tubing above the pump, and bring the bulb toward the outside skin. In this manner you control the bulb from getting away from you, and can get a good squeeze on it. Just hang in there and keep trying, it will get easier.
Good Luck

Mine doesn't let me get much of a feel for the top of the pump it seems high - I see you are supposed to hold the pump by the pipework but mine is hiding behind other bits of me

IT'S ALIVE - Don't know how I did it but the pressing had a lot of resistance and the position of my fingers seemed more at the base of the pump - I think I have to learn it's needs
Didnt hear a pop but it seemed to give way all of a sudden But slow to fill - dont know if I have a kink in a pipe but at least I'm nearly there
Thank you for encoragement

Is the AMS 700LGX quiet when you inflating the implant? If in bed with a woman and did not want her to know I had an implant. Would she hear it while I'm pumping it up while engaging in foreplay? I've heard the Titan makes noises and was curious if the AMS does the same. I'm due to be implanted in May.

Silent when I inflate, buzzes for about 7 seconds when I deflate.
