I have been thinking about getting an implant, but I have a few questions that I wanted to put to this group first. Now since I am getting an implant, does the head of my penis get hard when I pump? Is there a way to make the head bigger permanently?

The head of the penis does not get hard via the pumping, though the cylinders will, or should, extend into the head a bit. That said, if you are healthy and the surgery went well you will regain engorgement of the head in time most likely, though it can't be guaranteed. That said, at one week I was already getting engorgement, and one month post-op I have full engorgement of my head now when I am turned on.

I am unaware of any procedure that permanently makes the head larger. You can do dermafil injections, or other such injection, but those will need to be repeated every few months. Anything else is dangerous according to my research, but that research was not extensive, I admit.
