Mid-Shaft about 6"--6 1/2" . swelling has been going down a lot since surgery... so who knows where it will settle...I am actually pleased it is...
No it doesn't feel like a natural erection. It is much firmer. not sure how that will go over... just hope the next woman I have sex with won't say "wow that is hard! Is it fake?" ...or " why is your dick always hard?" anyway...we'll see.

Also, how good is the erection? Does it feel full like a natural erection??

Wolfpacker,

Hey, I had an LGX by Dr. Karpman as well. Damn thing is HARD as a rock. Even in my young days if a super model had walked in my room I couldn't have gotten this hard. I haven't had the opportunity to try it on my wife yet, have to wait till Christmas Eve, but it's AMAZING!

I haven't lost any size or girth either.

Hi Guys,
Wednesday I had an opportunity to use my new fully activated implanted penis. Had a nice long session with a Mexican cutie. I was very pleased with the outcome. 8-) I was able to do positions that were difficult if not impossible with my ol' drug induced erections. The best part is that the burden of using so much mental effort to coordinate sex with erections is gone. I am hoping this new freedom will make it more appealing to stay in a relationship longer than 6 months... ... Now I will be able to focus on my partner instead of being obsessed with keeping my dick hard. Also it is easy to put on a condom. Before I would have to get fully aroused and get the condom rolled down quick before I lost the erection. Since this was a one time encounter the jury is still out on detection as I didn't get any specific feedback... other than her loud moaning.

Also this week was the first time I was able to deflate and position my flaccid penis pointing down instead of having to keep it pressed "up" against my lower abdomen. It does seem to re inflate though. I can live with it. It is really only a problem when I am at the gym working out, for some reason. I go into the locker room wrap both hands around it and squeeze as hard as I can for a few seconds. I should probably count that as part of my exercise routine.

Yesterday I had sex for the second time with my new LGX implant. Again no issues. The bulb in the scrotum is definitely detectable to the touch though.
It was a good day pumping too. I did a good three hours total. 1 1/2 before work and 1 1/2 hr another 1 1/2 hr after. My method is to do an initial inflate to max ( about ten squeezes) then every 5-10 minutes do another single squeeze as hard as I can. I take a 600 mg motrin at the start of each pump session. That helps with the discomfort that comes with the expansion. At Max I still have an upward curve, it's ok. If i get some significant permanent length gain I will live with the slight curvature upward of the shaft. My only gripe is the glans doesn't engorge and expand with arousal like it used to. Would a little cials do the trick? I mean it's not floppy but the skin is not smooth like when it is engorged. I was very sore when I went to bed last night. The penis, scrotum and even my lower abdomen where the reservoir is located was slightly tender after sex last night. May have overdone it a bit. 8-) Tonight it all feels pretty good.

Sounds like you are having fun with your new toy. Yes , I always use a 50 mg Viagra before sex to help fill out the glans , etc.

Hi 3rd Nut,
I will try that then. I will go with the cials though that should help too, I would assume. It worked pretty good when I used it for my ED. For me it had fewer side effects and seemed to work at lower doses. Anyway..thanks for the tip.

I was told with the implant, 5mg of Cialis would be a good starting point if I felt as though I needed it, just to fill out the head. I had the same issue as you, side effects with Viagra, but almost none with Cialis, it just became unpredictable, same as viagra of course.

Glad You're having fun with the new toy!! Out of curiosity, and if you don't mind me asking, how long were you able to go before you felt any pain, or was it only after? I have read that it takes a bit of getting used to. Hope your wife enjoyed it as well and wasn't too sore ;). I hear that's also a problem because of the hardness of these things.

Hi Hebre,
Thanks for the feedback. No complaints of soreness from women yet…guess I'll have to try a little harder. As far as last time I did her she moaned the words: "...deep…" or "...deeper…" a few times though.
In addition to taking a motrin before I cycle, I just started wrapping a bed buddy rice sock, warmed in the microwave oven (for 5 minutes on 50% power) while I inflate. I may start doing this prior to sex too, if practical, because the warmth makes it feel more natural…
I am starting with 2.5 mg Cialis every other day then maybe everyday if needed. I just want to use the lowest dose that works…being a bit more sensitive to sides than you perhaps..

AMS LGX 2 year mark

Two years ago I had an AMS LGX placed by Edward Karpman, MD. For the most part I am pleased with my decision. However there are some drawbacks that are significant. Number one is the process of arousal. It is nice to always be able to get hard and not worry about getting an erection. however when intimate moments strike having to "pump up" with 10-20 good squeezes kills the spontaneity. And no more starting my day with morning wood, I truly miss that ritual ;)

In part because of my previous augmentation surgeries I I am never flaccid enough to wear boxer shorts. Even with briefs or underarmour I am finding I have to "re position myself discretely to subdue a most prominent bulge. That was a problem before I had the implant but now it's worse. (Please don't advise: "Be proud man!")

The pump is visible and obvious with scrotal contact by my sex partner. Apparently my testicles are too small to hide it much. I wish my scrotum were more full to at least make the pump less noticeable.

At the point of producing length gains the implant becomes unnaturally hard. Therefore I still use Cialis, Viagra and even Muse suppository to engorge the glans and shaft around the implant. This is to reduce the incredibly hard dildo-like feel of an erection. To not be dependent on the pills was my initial motivation for the implant coupled with the added advantage of gaining erect length with the LGX.

My first relationship post implant went well. Ended for reasons wholly unrelated to the implant. I have since come to realize what a jewel that first woman was. She never said anything about or questioned the peculiarities of my penis or our great sex as a result of it. I think one time she asked: "my god. Don't you ever get tired?" And affectionately referred to it as her "Popsicle".

My Three Wishes

Here in a nutshell are the three things I hope someone is working on to make this type of prosthesis more effective:

1. Not so hard when fully inflated. Have more natural living tissue like "sponginess".

2. Pump not as Hard to the touch or as visible in the scrotum.

3. Inflatable with one squeeze or activation- instead of ten or more.
