Hi ... had my 3 piece implant put in by Kramer on July 7th. Three and a half weeks later he had to remove it because of excessive pain. He flushed it out and put in a semi-rigid. Now 4 weeks after that I am still feeling pain in left testicle and within the penis. Doc now says to wait another week or two and if not improved I should seek a second opinion! I am at wits end now after 2 surgeries and 8 weeks of this.

Any insight you could give on your experience would be appreciated.

Not sure how you "private" email on this site but if you can do it that would be fine.

+1. I agree - you can't go wrong with Dr. Kramer - he's great. He takes extreme precautions to guard against infection: should one occur, it would not likely be due to anything under his control.

Hi,
I'm 25, I will be posting my story in a bit, I went for Dr. Eid myself. Dr. Kramer is also pretty awesome, but he called my down for an 'appointment/meeting' which was over an hour and a half each way, and we barely spoke for 5 minutes, he just had a look and that was it. Didn't feel very personal to me, and worse it felt like he kind of wasted my time a bit, he could've asked me all of the same over the phone.

Dr. Eid was a lot more conclusive and complete, he went over my entire history, performed routine tests on me to check himself etc etc and gave me some Cialis to try for a month before I did anything else. I felt I had a much better connection with him than with Kramer.

But that does not mean that Eid or Kramer are working bad.
You should also consider Perito; he's got the all most experience with respect to volume and once trained Kramer. Further excellent guys are Burnett from Johns Hopkins (less volume), Milam from Nashville, Morey from Dallas, Garber from Philly and some more.

Dr. Kramer did mine in December 2013 after the surgery I went home with out any issues (my wife said I complained about pain) took maybe 1 pain pill and waited until it was time to see him again. He pumped it up, that did hurt a bit but went away. In other words the whole process was good and any pain associated with it was minimal and quite worth it. Dr. Kramer is a young guy and quite personable in my opinion. You can't go wrong with him. And my johnson is happy too.

Any surgeon is going to have his detractors and those that speak glowingly, it's just part of the business. Also every outcome is sort of unique, some don't go as planned and it's understandable those that didn't wouldn't always think highly of their doctor. I guess bottom line is just go with who you feel more comfortable with after having a consultation.

This is like who’s the better quarterback? Unitas, Brady, Montana etc..
They’re all good in their own way, and there still will be people that put them down.
