The voyage of being implanted by Fred

Postby fredgermanholes » Thu Dec 09, 2010 11:47 am

Well 5 years ago after many disappointments, facing how good dates ended in a terrible nights just because little me did not work out. I tried don't drink to much, not eat too much, not anything too much... I did not understand why my erections were so flaccid in that time and not as firm as before. I remember the time when little me was always ready for any formal or informal meeting.. Actually some times he was ready before I could be thinking about it, embarrassing at those times with the girls.... But I did not have to think or not if the outcome would be good or not because always were good. Well,,,,, almost always, the issue I faced was how my friend liked to finish so quickly letting me without tools in the middle of the race.

Good memories , LOL. The first appointment with a doctor I received a a Viagra prescription, and to be honest I did not come back to any doctor for a year because the success of my sexual life was huge. I thought everything was fixed, but it was not. The pills were stop working as before, then I had a second appointment this time with a sexual urologist he gave me a prescription of Cialis & levitra, & of course he said we have to know what was happening to me...

In that way I met my Psychologist a great who spent with me many hours many days taking my money (I did not accepted any medical plan), he is really a good guy, with his help I learn to use the pills in a better way, I learn to talk about my issue with my girlfriend and face the true in a different way.

After some months my psychologist decided my problem was physical so, the urologist performed a test and the diagnostic was Venous Leak. With that information I visited Tom Lue in USFC, he is the best guy to decided ig the venous leak can be fixed or not. Dr Lue did to me a Color Duplex Ultrasound and Cavernosogram, the diagnostic? Many smalls Venous leaks making surgery very difficult and with not great % of be fixed.

Thus my journey with injections started while my venous leak was increasing. I tried Caverject, Ohhh that hurts guys,, finally after many tries The only way I could get erections were Trimix & Cialis used together.. for almost 6 months I could get erections for 20 to 30 min or so... But as all treatments made before... my leak were each time bigger and bigger making the injections not a good outcome. That made me jump to the final frontier. THE IMPLANT

Well I have talked about implant with more people in different groups than i could imagine, reading about wich implant could be the best.. I think the decision which one was easy... three piece inflatable, the best outcome and with not visible to the people ... The next... Which Brand and Model..? Coloplast - TITAN or AMS LGX, I think now those are the best on the market today (Just my understanding) each one with some pros and cons.

Now I Got the AMS-LGX and guys I will let you know what is happening with me, for them who have been here already I will be asking you many things, for others this could be a way to learn and make a decision.

Fred

A fimilar story none of the ED drugs of shots worked for me either. I had a color doppler and that revealed I had venous leakage that only got worse with time.

I had my implant 10/23/08 by Dr. Milam at Vanderbilt. I had lost 1.5 inches because of peyronies and all the side effects.

Today I have gained back over 1 inch and feel like a normal man again. The benefts of an implant are many, you are in for a great renewal of your sex life.

Any questions along the way I will be glad and help answer them. There are several of us on this forum that have an implant and willing to share our story and help you along the way.

Enjoy your new toy.

Hey there Fred,

Glad to hear things went well for you. I actually live in San Francisco and I am going to assume you meant UCSF, since you mentioned Dr Lue?
I saw him several years ago when he set me up with my first round of bimix. I'm at the point where pumps, pills and injections are useless.
When you are feeling up to it, I have a long list of questions about your experience with Dr. Lue. My insurance no longer has a partnership with UCSF, so I'd have to fight to go out of network and pay extra, so not sure if it would be worth the fight.

Best wishes,
Greg

Diabetic: used pills & injections.
2 TURP surgeries caused Peyronie's. 1st implant lost to infection, 2nd one is about 5 years old. But "floppy head" due to all the scar tissue, couldn't get tips all the way up.
