Hi, Thanks to everyone for the wonderful support, and answering my questions. Dr. Millam is a wonderful doctor. It has been a breeze going through Vanderbilt Medical system. My wife is in a wheelchair, and they are going to provide extra assistance, plus provide a cot for her to sleep on in my hospital room. My wife and I are very very pleased with this medical care. It was well worth driving here. I will let everyone know about the surgery in a couple of days. I will probably drive my wife nuts, but she is used to it.

Thanks

George

Hi, the surgery on Dec. 8 went off without any problems. The staff at Vanderbilt is tremendous. The pain was a little intense
in recovery, because they were unable to increase the pain medication due to my low blood pressure readings. My equipment looks like I poured marble cake mix over it, but it is improving in appearance every day, and doesn't feel that tender now.
However, the tenderness in the scrotum is still very much there when trying to pull down the pump, but that is improving, and is less noticeable. What surprised me was how plugged up my plumbing became a couple days after the surgery, and I guess this is not uncommon. I was drinking the water, and taking the medication that was prescribed. If someone had said,
"you are full of ...." I would of said, "you are correct". In 24 hours I went from F. to E. Now everything is OK.

Tomorrow we are heading back to Minnesota. The dome on the sports arena in Mpls. may have deflated due to the snow storm, but I am ready to inflate in less than 6 weeks. This is a good web site, thanks for all the support from everyone.

George
