How many pumps to max out?
So I’m curious how many pumps it takes you guys to max out your implant? I think mine is around 40 pumps. Seems like a lot to me. Not sure how to tell when it’s actually maxed out? I have a 22 cm Titan with 1 cm rear tip extender for a total of 23 cm.

Re: How many pumps to max out?
All-in:
I had exactly the same worry…but I learned the following:
Early on, we are timid pumpers. We probably do “half-pumps” due to newness, swelling, and some pain. Been there.
When swelling subsides, or we get more adventurous, harder squeezes become the norm. I was worried that I was still doing 20+ big-ish pumps to get to max.(that full feeling, when you get the hard pump ball and cannot add more pumps)
I saw my surgeon/urologist yesterday because I was worried that I might have a deflation problem. I thought I had a leaky or non-sealing valve.
Turns out that as a learning process, I may have touched my release valve when inflating (one touch titan) and thereby increased the number of pumps required to get to max. My girlfriend is learning with me, and we both noticed that there was a change from max to 75% during operations (were enthusiastic learners) but also oral and PIV if rough enough could activate the valve apparently. I have been instructed to pump to max, wait a few minutes, then…ahem…begin proceedings. She has been advised to remain enthusiastically involved, but be aware of positioning, and manual handling, as possible causes for perceived increases in pumping numbers. It’s a fun class, of course, us two, and there is a lot of homework.! I hope this may help, even if it’s a bit off-topic, but worth mentioning.
PS, with Titan touch, he told me the “reset” method is to hold the button down whilst manually assisting deflation, rather than the “one touch then squeeze yourself to assist deflation” which I was doing wrong. This also could have been a contribution. Questions welcome. Cheers!

Allin, I don’t have the same implant as you, I have the AMS 700 LGX, but here is my experience.
Early on when I first started cycling, I would do fast pumps and I wasn’t doing full wall to wall pump squeezes. It just seemed to be easier to pump fast and it was taking me around 70 pumps to get pretty hard.
After 6 months, I started doing pumps slower and concentrating on squeezing the pump bulb all the way. So now, I can pump around 25 times to pretty hard, then I give it a rest for about a minute to let things stretch and then I can get about 5 or 6 more full squeezes for a total of 30 to 31.
Now my wifey likes it super hard! lol So once we start PIV sex, she’ll ask if it is as hard as I can get it. I’ll pull out and give it 3 or 4 more micro pumps and slid back in and she’s happy! Lol
I’m sure it can vary with the size of the implant, but that’s how much I pump now and I’ve almost had mine for 5 years.
I hope that helps a little

titan implant here - early on I felt like it was 50 pumps, but now down to about 30 big pumps or so. I usually leave about 8-10 pumps in there at all times just so I don't tire out my hands when ready.
62 year old, ED+PD, Coloplast Titan 22 cm no RTE in 2019 with Dr. Irwin Goldstein => failure, now with plaque excision/tunical expansion to Coloplast Titan 26 no RTE in 2022 by Dr. Darshan Patel, now with classic pump 2024

Rigicon infla10ax here. Been consistent in saying the main downside is the no of pumps to get max. Anywhere between 60-65 for me. At the present. 40 is good hard already. 50 is super hard. 60 is max and even uncomfortable if prolonged
Became bionic 3/2026. Hakky - rigicon infla10ax 23 cm (22+1 rte). Chronic ed - tried pills, ved, bimix/trimix. Had mild venous leak on doppler. Took the plunge when ultrasound showed fibrosis and i knew it was only a matter of time before i needed one

Rigicon here and also take the same amount of pumps which is a bit annoying. Wonder if it’s because it’s an AX (expanding model). Interested to know how much less pumps it is for Titans

Im sure its because its ax. The design probably requires more pumps to expand both directions. I love the ipp though. Super hard. No dog ears. Natural flaccid. Now hoping itll last long
