Someone here said that the AMS 700 CX gives bigger length than the AMS 700 LGX.

The CX (controlled expansion) does not expand in length, but will allow some expansion in girth. I thought I gained a small amount of length early on, but I realized that that was just swelling going down and I suppose the implant settling into place. The LGX was specifically designed to expand in length although individual anatomy will ultimately be a limiting factor which is why many guys will do a lot of VED exercising prior to implant. Both the CX and LGX use the same material, but a different weaving pattern in the LGX allows for the expansion.

If properly sized by the surgeon, both devices will give the same length results. CX has more girth potential and greater rigidity in the erect state.

More often than not LGX should expand your length but its girth expansion abilities are limited. CX doesn't expand in length but does expand in girth.

Here is one of the more prominent doctors in the US, Hakky, mentioning the difference between the two which is backed up by countless LGX recipients that I talked to. Mind you, Hakky is also known for not liking LGX much. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DULDzI9UnOo&t=45s

The reason so many doctors are anti-LGX is because LGX has other issues associated with it. In fact there is only one high volume implanter that I know of that is not anti-LGX. Still, if an implanter is not careful or conditional with LGX I'd be careful with going with that implanter. I'm going to quote what I wrote in another thread about LGX so I wouldn't have to repeat myself.

LGX is a bit controversial and not recommended for people with longer length instruments and those that already have a bend because it would (almost certainly) make the bend more profound.
That being said I know one LGX recipient that says that his bend makes his SO happier. It sort of acts like a fake girth enhancer thus creating additional pleasure from the girth-like experience. Apparently, if your wife likes them girthy the bend wouldn't create a problem (for her) but rather turn into asset :D

Most LGX recipients that I PMed with (and there were many) seem to be happy with the results. Many praise its length expanding capabilities and natural feel. I spoke to two that even revised from Titan to LGX which made both them and their wives significantly happier due to that "natural feel". I myself was considering LGX only, before I began leaning towards malleable.

Nowadays however many LGX recipients would shy away from discussing their experiences in public because it could get pretty contentious with some of the non-LGX recipients. Sad, but true. That's why you no longer have many of them discussing particulars of their experiences on the open forum unless something goes bad.

Also, as you probably know by now, many implanters have a tendency to shy away from LGX. Many wouldn't implant it if you're over certain pre-op length. Primarily I think because of its bendiness, issues with rigidity for longer penises, and because its length-enhancing capabilities increase the risk for erosion (which sort of make sense, eh?).

That being said, for example, Hakky (whose link on LGX I posted above) would implant LGX (that's who I was thinking of implanting with if I went with IPP) but in one of his comments on Youtube he does refer to LGX as a rotten implant (or something like that). Clavell is even more strongly anti-LGX, although I know a member whom he placed with LGX few years ago (he says he literally had to beg Clavell for it) and who seem to be very happy with the results. I hear Levine makes you sign some waver of responsibilities before implanting LGX, and so on. You don't even want to know what Eid thinks about LGX, trust me. :P

Among high-volume implanters Kramer is probably the only not "anti-LGX" implanter out there. :D

LGX max cylinder length is 21cm
CX is coming in max 24cm but under a special order can be to 27cm.
LGX can expand in length though.

That does not mean the larger size cylinder will guarantee longer dick. If you oversize it you get erosion and infection, not a longer size.
Each penis' tunica has its biological max length beyond which the length cannot be expanded, no matter what. The trick is that that not many people can reach their tunica's max length naturally or even via forcible stretching.
That's why every once in a while you can hear anecdote stories that postoperative length became larger than before. It did not. It is merely a fact of a hard physical force that causes tunica to stretch beyond its regular length but it still has a hard limit.

I've had my LGX for 3+ years now.
I've reached 7" length, while I was around 6-1/2 or 6-3/4 before.
That said, the main benefit to me is the more natural feel when not inflated.
I've read so much about dog-ears and other issues, especially with Titan implants.
My LGX did exhibit just a bit of that if deflated completely. I just add a couple quick pumps after deflating and the issue goes away, while still leaving me with a very natural flaccid look and feel.
Rigidity has never been an issue, it gets as hard as when I was a teenager, and it did almost completely eliminate my moderate curvature.
Overall, I'm very happy with my LGX. :D
Age 63. AMS 700 LGX 21cm + 2cm RTE.
Peniscrotal, 2/23.
6.25" OEM with Cialis, about 5" post-op.
9/7/26 Only cycling occasionally for the past year, but measured today and hit the magic 7" mark. Actually about 1/16" over. 8-) :D

My LGX gets the job done, but, knowing what I know now, I definitely would have went for CX (being that I was measured at 23 cm).

At that length, the LGX does indeed have a feeling of infirmness to it—not to mention that I lost some girth. In terms of length, I neither lost nor gained anything: penis is exactly the same.

Yes, Hakky told me he feels the LGX is a “garbage implant,” though I’m sure he’d install it if requested. More than anything, I’m looking forward to the Titan Prime and its BioFlex tubing.
42. Implanted by Dr. Kramer, July 5, 2024, AMS LGX, 21cm cylinders + 2cm RTEs. Idiopathic "hard flaccid" ED following bacterial infection. Tried pulse waves, Cialis, TRT, even spinal injections. Nada.
