AMS LGX / Rigicon Infla AX lenth expansion

Postby indeed » Mon Mar 30, 2026 9:06 am

I'm curious, AMS LGX and rigicon AX both claim a lenth expansion of "up to 25%".

Is the 25% measured for the inflatable part of the cylinders only i guess? so for example, in an 18cm LGX, lets say 5cm is the non inflatable proximal part, that would mean 13 cm * 0.25 = maximum 3.25 cm lenth increase?

I've read mixed reports on this. For the guys that have either of the implants, how much do you feel does your implant actually expand in length? (if possible in cm or inches).

Also i'd be curious how much you need to pump it to have sufficient rigidity for sex? Do you need to pump close to full length expansion to make it hard enough or does it get sufficiently hard even not pumped close to full expansion?

Thanks

Huh? The the whole cylinder length expands including the proximal part. For the LGX it's very difficult to say (and probably for any of them). My flaccid is now almost double pre ED length, so the starting point is now different. My fully erect length is the same as pre ED, and the cylinders expand to the current limit that my tunica will allow I assume. No implant can expand further than that anyway, even if it has the capacity to do so.

I don't need anywhere near full inflation for sex. It is more than rigid enough for penetration long before that, but I prefer it rock hard as it feels better. Trivial difference in length between those points, only firmness. No idea how that translates into overall length expansion as you can't measure the actual cylinder length changes internally. In my case the difference between flaccid and fully erect now is only about 1.5 inches for 21 cm cylinders, if that is what you are getting at. That's due to the much longer flaccid, which is common with any implant.

I don't know what you are thinking but the first 5cm of every single implant on the market is hard plastic... with RTEs it's just more than 5cm.

Based on how inflatables work, it makes the most sense that the material is designed to expand a certain percentage, and so with a 15cm implant, only 10cm is inflatable, meaning it grows to 12.5cm. With the hard parts that's a total of 17.5cm which is why the AMS literature literally instructs surgeons to use a device 2cm shorter than their measurements. Make sense the way I am saying it?
Oct 7, 2025 - Coloplast Titan XL - Touch pump - 26cm - 0.5cm RTE with Jonathan Clavell. Still sorting out TRT; plan to try a "modified natty" approach without injections.

I possibly should have made it clear that I was referring only to the inflatable length component. Quite correct the tips etc are solid parts.
In my case there are no RTEs but yes, they are in the same category. I'm just a little confused about what the OP is asking.
Anyway I've answered as best I can in relation to my own implant, which was the context of his question.
