Rigicon FLA10 AX vs AMS700 LGX

Postby KaBoom » Tue Feb 17, 2026 8:54 am

The two different urologists im speaking to about my procedure have both coincidentally suggested I go with one of these two.

They are not saying one is better than the other.

They said if money is no object, then go with the AMS because it has a longer pedigree and experience.

Money is an object though, but I dont want to save a couple bucks for an inferior product.

Whatever research I can glean, it sounds like both are very comparable products. Leaning towards the rigicon.....but curious if others here have any input on this?

The more information posted about Rigicon products here the better. We need more of it.

Because the membership of FT is disproportionately from the USA there isn’t more info about Rigicon products. They haven’t been on the market here like AMS and Coloplast.

Hopefully there are guys with that product who can shed some light on the subject.

I considered both the AMS LGX and Rigicon Infla 10 AX. Both are available in Australia and my surgeon is experienced with both.
I was leaning very strongly towards the Rigicon, although I can no longer remember the exact reasons for my preference. They have much the same properties but the LGX is more proven. Ultimately my doc steered me to the LGX after there was an issue with dodgy connectors on the AX that had affected two of his patients. Last time I asked he said that Rigicon had addressed the problem and were now using more robust connectors, so he has gone back to implanting them again AFAIK.
